I am sure I read somewhere about a Disney baby - maybe even born on Disney soil - that was called Yekcim.

I so wanted to call our daughter either Ariel, Alice or Daisy but my hubby was having none of it however my dad is called Barry after JM Barrie and his sister and brother are called Wendy and Peter ... makes me smile everytime I think of it !!! and it was all intentional !

My pet rabbit is called Princess Jasmine and my cat Figaro, does that count? DH refused to call his pet rabbit after a Disney character but we compromised on Jessica Rabbit!!

I went throught a phase of wanting to call my second daughter Belle. I still love the name, but everyone thought I was mad & I didn't want her to hate me for it in the future. Apparently it was a very popular name in the early 1900s. In the end I called her Natasha because she was born in December & that is Russian for Christmas.

No Disney kids for us. Our eldest was named after a character from Dracula. About as un-Disney as you can get! My husband sometimes calls her "Mini" but just one of those things, not related to Minnie. I had to stop him calling her it in DLP in case someone thought we had named her after Minnie Mouse lol

Esmeralda is pretty but too cumbersome unless shortened to Esme etc and Lilo is a very cute name.
