Disney Awards Message 2/18

There is a new message on the DA site. People who are at cashout level will be allowed to cashout and then their information will be deleted and they cannot earn anymore awards. In the future, people will be invited to join. I wonder what this all means.

The site is still registered to Kristi. I wouldn't count on anyone getting their rewards. I think this is an effort to get the state attorney general off her tail. You can bet that she won't be inviting anyone who complained about her site to re-join the program. It just makes me wonder if she'll really erase all of our data from her files or sell it to someone.

It would be nice if DA got bought out ... It has the potential to be a good program, it was just very mismanaged. Of course if it was Kris that posted the message ... then I don't think we'll be cashing out anytime soon

Well, I hope you all get your money/rewards that you were supposed to get! Is Mal a Moderator over there? I thought I saw her name on the old boards...

Mal is a moderator as well as mistletoes (Barb) but none of them have heard a thing. Just as frustrated as we are.

dtuleya, you can do a whois search on disneyawards.com and Kristi's name will come up. I just use http://www.register.com and type in the same of the site that I'm looking for and on the next screen it will tell you that the site is unavailable ... but it will let you click on the site to show you who owns it. Some sites give you more information (ie. address, phone #) than others do.

Not a word on the points that "disappeared" back in August.
I will be curious to see what my total is when cashout is available.
I'm pretty sure it won't be a a cashout level even though it is supposed to be.

I wish I could donate the awards I have to someone else. She never credited me for over 3000 points, and I'm sure I won't see them. That leaves me with about 400 which is good for nothing. I also complained and never kissed her bottom, so I don't think I'll be invited to play. I'm really crying over the loss...

Here is what it says in case anyone else cannot see it:

This site is currently undergoing re-construction! Members will have Limited access. New Project Manager in charge of programming is moving the site and enabling the cash out system. This will be completed within 60 days from February 19, 2003. ALL Members who are eligible to cash out will be able to do so once the cashout procedure is fully operational. No cash outs will be paid until they can be properly accounted for. After that, this site will no longer be open to the public, it will be by invitation only. The site will be privately owned and the owners at this time wish not to have it opened to the public. All valid points will be honored once cashout begins. If you have further questions or concerns please direct them to: staff@disneyawards.com

Please note:No information will be sold or distributed. Once members cash out their points, all their information will be deleted from the database. Please do not contact us asking about cash outs or cash out procedures. We will clearly post here when the cash out system is fully enabled. Wow! I'm stunned to see any life from DA! Can we find out how many points we have? I haven't accessed my account for a while and don't know how many exact points I have? I'm very interested to see what's going to happen!

I can cash out with what I had but am still owed a very large amount of points for an Expedia purchase that I bet I will never get credited for. I also wonder if we ever do get to cash out, if third quarter will still be at the old rates and then fourth quarter at the new like it was supposed to be.

Probably will never get to cash out at all though so why bother worrying about it...

Well What a surprize!The news can not believe we have heard anything from whoever at DA at all.

I was a moderator on the ezboards but when Kris moved the boards I was not added as a moderator on the new boards and have actually lost the link to the new boards. Never had have the first email from Kris at all. And do not expect to either.


I totally agree with Bunnyfoo DA had great potential and I am just sorry how it ended up.

If you can not get into the old site to see your points use this back door click on Members home then log in the go to acct balance.

Thanks for the link Mal! I printed my balance page out several months ago, but I'm sure others will be able to use it. Thanks for the clarification on the mod boards. I forgot about the switch from Ezboard to the new ones.

I'm not holding my breath though since the site is still registered to Kris. Like others have stated, this all might be a smoke screen to keep people off her back.

I know I won't be one of those who is invited back, nor would I want to be. Once bitten, twice shy.....

Kristi's a real trip! I tried to do her reward site but stopped way before I I could cash out.

So now she's punishing people for wanting what they earned?! Oh boy...
