Disney Autographs

Hello, Anybody here collect signatures from people who have voiced characters in Disney films? I have quite a few autographs and it is very exciting and fun to get signatures in the mail from these people. I was just wondering if anybody else does this, would like to trade or ask about contact addresses.

I have only collected autographs on pins by the people that designed them. But I have to say what a VERY COOL idea for a collection.....share with us your favorite or maybe the most difficult to obtain, or maybe someone you were able to meet in person as well!

Well, lets see... My favorite is an 8x10 photo that Dickie Jones sent me, Pinocchio. It is a beautiful color photo with a personalized autographed. Another favorite is Sleeping Beauty, Mary Costa, sent me an awesome 8x10 color print signed to me.
Others I have are Belle, Little Mermaid, Piglet, Mrs. Potts, Lumiere,
Simba, and Dick Van **** signed a photo I sent him of a scene from Mary Poppins. All I do is send a picture of the character the person plays and most times I get a cool autograph. My hardest person to find right now is Robby Benson, the Beast. He is the only major person I am interested in getting a hold of. I have tried everywhere. Thats some of my collection, people should give it a try.

Can you explain what you do in greater detail as this interests me. What do you send to have autographed? Where do you get the addresses. Do you send Postage paid envelopes for return? What is the turn around time. Anyone ignore your request.

First I get a picture from a book, magazine, or I print one off the internet, of a certain character. I send a self addressed stamped envelope, SASE, along with a note and my picture. I find the addresses from different websites or I use Disney Studios in Burbank, CA, plus I do some researching. Sometimes I do not get anything back, sometimes a get a nice note back or a beautiful color 8x10 photo. People that I can think of that I haven't heard back from would be Mary Poppins(Julie Andrews), Cinderella(Ilene Woods) and the voice of Mickey Mouse, I forget his name. It is a very fun way to start a very different type of Disney collection. If you are interested in any of the websites I use or would like more details please let me know, or e mail me.

What a great collection you have!

I might actually start doing that, too.

The only Disney person I already have is Julie Andrews. A friend was dancing in the Broadway chorus of Victor/Victoria and she got me one of the programs which Julie autographed by her photo.
