Best to buy beforehand or at the parks?

We're not very artsy, so just want a basic, official Disney autograph book for our 4 y/o daughter.

See three different ones on disneystore.com...
1. A smaller, autograph only book
2. 2011 WDW with photo sleeves
3. Tinkerbell with photo sleeves

Any opinions???

I would just buy them once you get there, they'll be the same price as on the disney website, but you won't have to pay shipping for them.

I usually use the basic autograph only book, but I'm 21 & don't usually print all my disney pictures, just put them on facebook.

The ones with the photo sleeves don't have as many possible autograph pages as the autograph only ones since half the pages are for pictures.

If you think you're going to want pictures of your daughter with the autographs, get the photo one, if you have another plan for those pictures, get a regular one. (I know that isn't much help, sorry.) The other thing I've done is gotten a set of 4x6 index cards that are bound together at the top & then after the trip, take the card apart & put them into a photo album.

I don't feel as though I am very creative/artsy, but there are a lot of creative people here on the DIS. If you look at the Creative DISigns section towards the bottom, you will find a lot of autograph pages. You can use these to create your own autograph book(s).

I printed the autograph pages onto index cards, and then took them to Staples & had them add a spiral binding to each of the books. I used 5 x 7 (maybe 8 instead of 7) index cards and printed the autograph "box" to the right side of the card, and had the binding on the left. We just put the characters in alphabetical order, and it worked well! I was able to cut the autographs out of the book & add them to our scrapbooks.

We did this for our last trip (and I am planning on doing it for our trip this fall).

Good luck coming up with something that works for you!

One plus about buying the autograph book at the park is it comes with a pen. If the pen stops working for any reason, take it to the nearest gift shop that sells them and they will replace it for free.

Keep a look out for free shipping offers! Sometimes they offer free shipping on parks exclusive items.
