I'm looking for the story behind Pleasure Island, you know the one with Meriwether Pleasure discovering the island, blah blah blah.

If anyone knows of a website for this story and maybe any others, I'd appreciate it.

For some reason, I remember reading it there....of course, Jim has a flare for the dramatic on a lot of things, but some of his "what might have been" and rumors are fun to read. just do a search of the site, and if you dont find it, try emailing him and asking about it.

I always thought the whole PI thing was kinda curious considering that the PI term goes all the way back to Pinocchio.

Ok, I found it in my Disney library.

The story is recounted in "Since The World Began - Walt Disney World, The First 25 Years" by Jeff Kurtti.

It's on pages 150 - 153.

This is a great book if anyone hasn't read it.
