So, for all of us who enjoy disney out there. (Which is a lot.)

What have you done this year or ever for school assignments that relate to disney, if any?

So far I've written a poem about Epcot for writing class.
Wrote a comparison essay for english class about DL and WDW. (Yes, I've never been to DL but I did research!)
I'm writing about disney for a writing contest that's due in a few weeks too.
I'll probably be doing a project disney themed starting this summer for a school club as well.
We're doing a research paper later this year so if we get to choose I might do it over Walt Disney. :goodvibes

I love incorporating disney into school. It makes me actually want to do the work. Lol.

well every writing assingment i get i always do a disney park or something about disneyworld haha

I wrote an epiphany essay that takes place in Disney.

None.

But OMG. My geometry teacher is just as obsessed as I am, and she was a CM in the Africa part of AK! Soooocool.

Not too long ago I did a writing prompt on my favorite place to vacation or something like that.
But that's it.

I'm doing a metaphor poem right now on Disney. I'm saying that life is like disney world...lol idk [:

Yeah, most of my writing assignments I do about Disney. On my state writing essay I wrote about Disney too lol. Its more interesting, I think. It makes me want to work more, too.

one of the Stories we had to do for our Taks (state tesing) test was about Walt Disney Himself.
it was awesome. :]

In 3rd Grade I wrote a book with the American girl dog Coconut that took place in WDW before I had ever been (Yes I've been highly absused with Disney since I was like 3)
Then me and my best friend Katelyn wrote one of Coconut in Disneyland
Then whenever I can I write about Disney in essays but normally I cant since thats not what the prompt has to do with

I try to do it often. I even it use in exams :p One I can think of right now is using DHS as an example of rebranding in Geography. We were learning about Transnational Companies also, and the book gave a chapter on Disney, but we ended up using a different book -_- So for our own example, I chose Disney!

For my Biology coursework on Endangered Species, I mentioned Animal Kingdom as an example for something I don't remember, and Disney's Wildlife Conservation Fund as an example of a charity that helps endangered species.

one time in english, we had to give a speech about our favourite holiday ever (vacation) and i chose my transatlantic disney cruise two years ago :D
a few years ago in school we had to write an essay on something we love so i just wrote like 10 pages all about disney like the films, WDW and the Lands, disney cruise line and everything lol.

and in media now we're doing animation so we basically just sit around and watch disney films 3 times a week XD

I use Disney all the time in my work! I use it mostly in English, atm I can remember that in my mock GCSE exam, you had to write about what makes a good family holiday (vacation) and because I know Walt Disney very well, I quoted from him and talked about how a holiday should cater to ALL people in the family.

The only bad thing is, that I was asked to write about a person that inspires me and initially I chose Walt Disney. But I started to research about him and his life, and tbh I found stuff I didn't like and I lost a little respect for him (it is up to you what you think of the evidence though however). So in the end I decided to chose someone else.

Using Disney in school is just awesome.

In Year 10 we had to create a website so I made mine on Walt Disney World and that was for IT.

I'm at Art College now and last October, I did a unit on catles so I could use the Disney theme park castles and films. :cloud9:

in english we did quotes that meant a lot to us and i did "a dream is a wish your heart makes" from the cinderella song
in art class we are making coiled pots and i made Lilo (:
(the guy nest to me made stitch lol)
i did a research paper on walt disney before
my history teacher just got back from disney and had a disney spring training shirt on today...it was awesomeee (:

In 5th grade we had to write a story- My story took place in Disney World!!!!
::MinnieMo

Last year in English we had to write an essay on a picture that "spoke to us."
So I used one of two little girls looking up at the castle and talked about how Disney as a whole spoke to my inner youthfulness, sense of joy, imagination, and the fact that any dream truly is attainable.
I loved writing that paper.

Yes. Disney definitely makes projects easier. (It's funny how I can remember everything about Disney, but nothing about what we learn in school...)

In sixth grade, we wrote autobiographies, so of course I had a lot of Disney in that.
In seventh grade, I made a Disney ABC book - definitely my biggest Disney project. It was a very in-depth ABC book. We had to have so many facts and pictures and a poem or quote for each letter, plus a forward (mine was written by Michael Eisner!) and other details. It took me forever, but I loved this project and learned so much while doing it.
Um in geometry in ninth grade, I made a Disney picture book.... can't remember what it's called now (so much good that did me), but because of this that sort of thing. Ugggg wish I could remember.
Then I recently wrote my "This I Believe" essay for AP language on Disney Magic. I got a really great score on it (not to brag... I was quite surprised and thrilled - I thought my essay was stupid).
And I incorporated my Disney future into my teacher cadet application essay.

I try to squeeze a Walt Disney quote in whenever I can.
