Disney at Large

I have been to this page and read about it but I would like to hear it first hand from some of you............as you can see we leave VERY soon for our first trip to Disney
I am a very large woman I am about 370-380 most of my weight is in my stomach area and I am about 5'7 to 5'8
What I want to know is what is easy to get on and off of ride wise and what is not so easy someone my size.

Also is there any little secrets that I should know of like how many to tell in my party and all it will be my husband and my three children so any help I can get would be WONDERFUL and I need it soon.

Right now my stomach is in knots not knowing if I will be able to get on any rides or not..........with my family on our first trip to the world.

I went to WDW with my whole family last time (in 2005) and to be honest, several of us are "Pooh" sized and we didn't have any problems on the rides.

I believe that some of the rides even have "test seats" that you can try out discreetly for comfort if you ask a CM at the ride.

Have fun on your trip..please don't go all nervous...you're going to the most magical place on earth! Enjoy every minute of it!

Thank you so much for your response. I am doing my best not to get nervous and all stressed out I have to much of that going on right now. My son was sick a couple days the end of last week and now DH was over the weekend hoping that the other three of us don't get whatever it is..................

POOH shaped that is funny I think I am more like DUMBO though minus the big ears. SMILE

I know you won't feel absolutely confident until you see for yourself...but really, you won't have any problems (really!). When you encounter a ride with seatbelts, just pull the belt all the way out before you sit down....and you'll be fine. If there is any ride you are concerned about, just tell the CM's that you are 2, 2, and 1 on the rides. It looks like you have five people in your family. Either ride as a single....or sit with your smallest child. However, I doubt you'll have too many problems. The CM's also will direct you to the best cars/seats for you without even making it obvious to you. For example, on EE..I noticed that I was always sent to the last seat..every time. When I looked after getting out, I realized that it was a bit bigger. The CM's never made what he was doing obvious...to me or anyone else. I was just sorted into the right place and everyone had a great time!

Hey, girl, DON'T WORRY!! I'm bigger than you and I fit in all of them. I even have really bad knees and it's hard for me to climb down and back up, but I make it and they give you all the time you need. Even on the roller coaster, I fit. You won't have a problem, and you'll have a blast!!
