hi. I'm thinking about going to WDW during Christmas and I had a few questions:

1. Do the stores at DD have christmas themed items, or can you get the tropical themed items that you can get during the summer?
2. How is park crowding (as compared to summer, when i usually go?)

THANKS! I just need any general disney at christmastime advice and your opinions of it!!

Hi Tata:

Christmastime can be one of the busiest times of the year in WDW (also the most beautiful). The closer you are to Christmas Day, the larger the crowds. Christmas Day is PACKED in all parks, but in particular, MK. It's also the most expensive for hotels (holiday season rates).

You will most definitely be able to buy Christmas themed items. LOTS OF THEM !!!! Including ornaments and decorations. Depending on where you shop, you should also be able to buy tropical themed items. i.e. Adventureland in MK, gift shop at Poly, etc.

I usually plan my trip each year around the first week in Dec. It's value season, but we get WDW in its Christmas finery.

Now this is just my honest opinion, but we did WDW once from Christmas - New Years and will never do it again. The crowds were just too much to handle.

Hope this info helps.

Linda
