Barring any complications or problems, DH and I are planning on taking one last Disney trip as a couple (a "babymoon" of sorts) over Labor Day weekend. By that point I will be 30 weeks pregnant. I've talked to my OB, and she said to go for it, that if everything continues normally I'll be fine to travel until 36 weeks. We were just at Disney and saw plenty of preggers ladies, looking like they were having a grand time, but I was hoping to get some insight from people who have been there. I know that it won't be a commando trip, but we're seasoned veterans, not to mention the fact that I've lived in Florida for 9 years, so I'm used to the heat. Mostly we want to go down for some couple time, a few tame rides and free dining. We just got back from a trip on Thursday and I had no problems at all, in fact I didn't feel much different than I normally do on a Disney trip. We are really hoping to make this work, but if I'm being crazy, we'll find something else to do.

My son was born at 30 weeks and I didn't have any complications until a few days before he was born. With that said, I'm sure the majority of the people would be okay. I think the heat will be an issue.

The furthest along I went was when I was just 6 mths. It was Memorial Day many years ago and it was hot, Hot, and HOTTER! First of Spetember is still very HOT so if you go make sure you have lots of water. I think that you should be fine, just take lots of precautions and breaks. Have fun.

Go for it, I went at 33 weeks, it was hard, but no harder than being at home. I unfortunately got sick from something I ate, so I did learn from the doctors that alot of women come to WDW near the end and walk so much that they have premature contractions. So take it easy this time, enjoy the ice cream twice a day!!!

I was there at 40w3d. :) I was actually hoping to win a night in Cinderella's Castle (back when the Dream Team was around) and hoping to go into labor and birth my baby there LOL. Go for it! Just be sure to take it slow and head for A/C frequently. HAVE FUN!!

I went at 34- 35 weeks and we also had a 3 yr old with us. We went in July. Everything went fine. We saw alot of AC shows and did some indoor stuff. There was stuff I couldn't ride but no biggie. We generally took it easy. Naps in the afternoon and time at the pool. I say go for it if your pg is going normally!

I think it is important to note that you live about 2.5 hrs from the World...

This has been a pretty popular question as of late...here's two other threads that can give you some other opinions on the topic. You get some differing opinions for sure, but since you asked, with my first pregnancy, I probably could have done it, but with my current pregnancy, I would say heck no!

I say go for it, especially since you live so close and are used to the heat. It will be nice for you and DH to get away one more time before the baby comes. If you get closer and feel like you are not up to it you can always cancel the vacation. I went pregnant twice, the furthest along being about 26 weeks. We still had a blast.

i'm 31 weeks right now and i wouldn't be up to it but that's just me. my energy levels are minimal and i get pretty bad braxton hicks contractions whenever i do a lot of walking, etc. (i have other health issues as well.)

if you are feeling great and are typically a healthy individual, i would say go ahead and plan the trip. i just would expect to take it easy and buy insurance for the trip just in case you have to cancel last minute.
