Hello all. I've used this site for 5 years to plan my trips. I've never had a question that someone else hasn't asked before. I have one now! For those of you that have purchased the 4 day park hopper with water parks and more, does it mean you're limited to 4 days? Or can you use your 4 park days then day 5 or 6 go to a water park. Thanks in advance.

The WP&M visits are totally independent of the Theme Park visits.
You can use the WP&M visits on the same days or different days than the Theme Park visits.

With Magic Your Way tickets, you have up to 14 days following the first use of the ticket to use all of the entitlements.
With Armed Forces tickets, you have up until the end of the expiration date to use all of the entitlements.

By the way, this question gets asked quite often, as it is a rather confusing ticket issue.

And...
:welcome: to posting on the DISboards, Joe!

You will have 4 park days and 4 Water park etc entitlements. If you do both Blizzard beach and typhoon lagoon on the same day, that's two entitlements.

Do the Armed Forces Salute Ticket expire after 14 days now? I helped some extended family with military tickets a couple of years ago and thought I remembered that the unused days didn't expire until September. Can a day be added to those tickets? I'm betting not.

We love the AFS tickets! We get the 4 day hopper WPFM tickets. So we do 4 park days, and we have 4 additional water park days! You can use the days in any order. So you get 8 days for the price, which is already a great discount! You can't add days, but you can buy separate discounted MYW tickets for more days. Or, if you are not using all 6 AFS tickets, you can use two AFS tickets back to back for one person. So, if just two are traveling, you can buy 4 AFS tickets, and use them back to back, to get 8 theme Park days and 8 water park days. Have fun!!

You can't add days to the Military Salute ticket. Unused days stay on the ticket until used or the end of the offer (it's now December 20th).

Hi!! Did I understand this correctly ...
We have the Military tickets for our trip in June. If we only use 3 of the 4 days then we can use the last day in Novemeber? If this is the case, will "My Disney Experience" let me re-enter the ticket number so I can pick FP again? Thanks for your help! Cheers!

1. Yes.
2. No need to reenter the ticket.
It will still be in your MDE. And, you can book FP+ for that remaining day.

We ordered our AFS tickets through Shades of Green and received them a couple of weeks ago so we could do our FP. Does anyone know if we still have to have them activated? We've given them all the documentation they needed to even purchase the tickets, so not sure if we have to stop at guest services before a park.

It's my understanding that the tickets from Shades of Green now come already activated.

We did not have to activate ours. They should be green hard plastic with a character on the front. The ones that need to be activated clearly say so on the back... Something along the lines of them being exchange certificates.

WOW!!! THANK YOU for your knowledge!! You just saved us from buying three tickets again in November!! That's $576 you SAVED us!!! We are TRULY grateful to you!!

One more question if possible ... Are AFS tickets different than the Military Salute tickets I get at Fort Carson (Army Base) in regards to carrying over the unused days? Thanks again!

This clarifies perfectly. Thank you!

As long as they are the Armed Forces Salute 4-day tickets then they are the same.
