Hi,

It has been six months since our last trip to WDW and we are planning another trip in April. This time due to a large group( 2 adults and 4 kids) and finances we are going to be staying outside the park. We have made reservatons at the Quality Suites Maingate East and would like to know if anyone else has stayed there and how it was?

Also if there is info on how to scan a picture into a thread I would appreciate the info. On our last rip I was proposed to in front of Cinderellas Castle and have a photo of it. I have purchased a scanner and would love to share.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite there in March 2002. It was nice - nothing too fancy but no significant complaints. Breakfast was fairly basic though we thought the area was a bit cramped and preferred to grab our food and take it back to our suite.

Depending on the rate you are getting, it may be worth renting a condo or house instead. I know we paid $105/nite for 2-bedroom at Quality Suites and you can easily get a 3-bedroom house for $100/nite and have much more space and amenities and your own pool. 2-bedroom condos start at about $55/nite.
