Disney apparel?

I stopped at the local disney store last night and was extremely disappointed at the clothing selection. Where does everyone get their stuff at? I've found a few toddler things at Wal-Mart / Target but can't find any adult sizes.

Walmart has some adult things as does K-mart..

Check out the "Creative DISigns" forum here on the DIS! Making your own apparel is all the rage! Or if you are talentless and uncoordinated like I am you can have your custom designed shirts printed up at the mall!

I saw some of the stuff on DISigns but not sure if I'm willing or able to conquer making my own. I also saw alot of nice shirts on zazzle.com but thought I could get some regular (but nice) shirts at the disney store...still have over a month so I'll keep looking....if all else fails, I'll just have to pack less and buy there.

We go to the Disney Store in our area, just for a taste of Disney and have noticed that its geared for the youngsters. Sometimes you might be there for some adult stuff but talking to the store manager, she said they were going to change the approach of items in the store to more for adults. Other than that we get alot from DisneyDirect, they have great close outs and free shipping from time to time, serves our purpose quite well.

Since I complain about not enough adult clothing at DS just about every time I go in there, I can tell you I have been hearing the line about how they will be getting more adult clothing for about 2 years now.

It is hard to find nice adult Disney stuff without actually going to WDW. I love Disney sweatshirts and have resorted to scouring ebay for them. I have gotten some really nice, embroidered/appliqued ones...it's harder to find t-shirts and tops though.

Side story: About a year ago I saw a gorgeous embroidered MGM studios sweatshirt on ebay, it is beautiful, with the scorcer's hat and colored swirls and stars. The seller had 20 of them for sale and I was nosy and asked her where she got them and she said someone has dropped off 6 cases of the brand new sweatshirts at her local THIFT SHOP! She bought a bunch and put them on ebay. Go figure.

Target usually has some cute character tshirts for women in the juniors department. the disney store website has a great selection of adult clothing and you can usually find great prices in the clearance section. Try disneystore.com or disneyshopping.com.
