The common work-around is to go to the website via a web browser.

Another fix to try is to restart your device.
Also, when asking questions about applications, it would help to include the info about your phone or device.
Include the level of operating software.

I looked but I can't find it. I think I'm updated. I'm afraid of it crashing like this when we are in Disney!

Current version for both Apple & Android devices is 3.7.1 which was released on 9/22/2016.

The website is having issues as well. May be an issue on Disneys end.

When an Android app starts acting squirrely, particularly one that updates its working data frequently like MDE, many times the cause is corrupted files in the app's cache. Clearing that app's cache (NOT the data) can fix the problem. I have no idea if the same holds true for iPhones.

I don't even bother using the app anymore. I just go to the website via my browser - shortcut save to the Home Screen on my iPhone.

That app is brutal.
