Hi there folks,

I have got a quick question regarding the Disney Annual Pass and was wondering if someone could clear it up with me.
Does an Disney Annual Pass start from the day it is purchased or from the day it is first used?

I have checked a few sites out and got the same contradicting answer. The sites say the following:

"The Annual pass is good for 365 days from the date of purchase. If you purchase a Annual Pass voucher which must be activated at WDW, the 365 day clock begins on the day you activate it."

Can anyone help please.

It's not contradictory really. The AP itself is valid from the moment you purchase it. The AP voucher is something you take with you to Guest Services at the parks or DD and exchange for an AP.

Hope this helps.

After you purchase the AP you are able to go activate it at anytime.

So if you bought it now and are going in say 6 months, when you arrive you would go to the guest relations window at one of the parks or DTD and activate it, it is then valid for a year from that date.
