Evening all! Been busy trying to get some stuff fixed around the house!

I had to get the flu shot once and I've had it twice since then... hasn't seemed to make a difference for me either way, but I know they are good for many!!

Man, I didn't realize how tired I was...

Flu shots are available at all the drug and grocery stores here, I don't know what they cost. With so many elderly residents, its easier to get them at safeway then go to the doc.

Hmmm, I have worked for 2 days at this temp assigment, I am going to be nuts soon. It is toooooooo boring, but tomorrow is interview number 2 with the financial advisor, so maybe that one will work out. I'll just keep looking and temping, maybe I will find some better temp work, but I am not holding my breath.

DH is making lamb burgers for din din, he is such a sweetie.

I have to get caught up on all my normal routine, now that ds has flown the coop, I can get to my laptop a lot more easily.

Chocolate....yum!!!! I have my own chocolate story to share. The people Lew works with are big chocolate fans and once they heard we were going to Hershey (in August!!) they put in their orders. Well, Lew took on the job of chocolate courier quite seriously. We packed an extra cooler just to transport the goodies and he made sure it was full of ice from the Tuesday we purchased it to the Saturday we finally arrived home.

Poor Dylan...what a nice kid to offer to wrap up the piece he was about to eat! Speaking of Lars' kids.....how's Meg's foot these days? Is she still sporting that lovely orthopedic boot??

Lorraine - I second the motion for a cabana boy!

Cabana boys are great... I have two on the Ya Ya thread (Antonio Banderas and Orlando Bloom)... sure come in handy

My chocolate story: There was a fire at the local drug store around Easter time when I was a kid. All the chocolate rabbits melted. I was very upset at the time.

My chocolate story. . . I like it too much! No I guess that is more of a confession than it is a story. I eat the ears first when I munch a chocolate bunny.

CS, you don't have to have a flu shot. There are years when I miss getting mine. You just come into contact with a lot of people who might get sick when you are going to school. Weigh how often you get the flu and how long you stay sick against getting stuck, I guess.

I wonder if Bo Peep got the rest of her sheep safely to WDW?

Happy 800! You are reaching those milestones quickly, but we're glad you are chatty.

I'm heading to bed. DH is watching baseball, and as I said before I don't really care much at this point. It is raining and pouring at the World Series. Glad I'm not there.

I think that is great advice Merry!! I know some who would get it pretty much every year and then others who never have had it!

Okay I haven't said much about chocolate, but would y'all think me odd if I didn't really eat chocolate ever? At least not plain really. Not fond of it I guess.

Cute chocolate stories! I absolutely Love good chocolate!
When I was in high school I worked at Gimbels in the candy department at the mall. They sold Prices chocolates and we were allowed to take home any chocolate covered strawberries that were broken. (That happened a lot) They were delicious and they had lots of the juice and syrup inside. I still haven't found any that I like as well. I also loved the Annaclairs and pecan turtles!

SB, Congrats on 700!
