Lars, I just had a very hard time sleeping last night. I was actually up quite late (after 5 am) so I have slept a little this morning since then.

I went to visit my mom's boyfriend. He snapped and popped me and I'm feeling a little better. The neck is still sore, but at least I can move again.

We picked up some peppers and cilantro at the market, so we are going to try our hand at homemade salsa today. Guess I'll fix Mexican food for dinner tonight.

I took the kids to the mall today. The main reason was so DS could get a shirt for school. Any shirt, just something new, by his request. We went either into or by Penney's, Strawbridges, Spencers, Aeropostle, American Eagle, Ambercrobie, Gap, Champs, Pac Sun. NOTHING! He could find nothing he liked. DD, of course, found pants we weren't even looking for in the very first store. Lars, maybe I need to find the nearest Target.

I did get myself parchment paper in Williams-Sonoma for baking and a new car jar in Yankee Candle.

Tonight DH and I go out to dinner with the man who I went to my senior prom with and his SO. She is a romance novel writer and we have known her from when she was a graphic designer. Click here to read about Mary Jo Putney. (OK, I am name dropping but I don't do that often.)

Hello from WDW and OKW!

I am getting tired easily, but the cart works great. We aren't really doing a lot, but the heat and rain are tiring. I got a Pal Mickey today, and he is pretty cute to listen to. He gets a bit "confused" sometimes though! Today, as we left Epcot, he thought we were in AK! He also thought it was 30 minutes to Illuminations when it was 1:00 pm!

CDS tonight1 Actually in just an hour.

I'll have to catch up later with everything. We ended up driving straight through yesterday and got home at 4 am. I am very tired right now. SB and family decided to stay overnight, so they will be back later today.

We had a fantastic time. Had to keep switching our plans around due to the rainy weather. We were able to do Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, MGM and MK, and spent lots of time shopping at the outlet stores and Downtown Disney. I bought tons of antenna toppers to start a collection.

I hope everyone is doing well. Very strange not to talk with all of you every day!

One more thing before I go....

Elaine-I hate nights like that when you can't sleep.........happened to me just the other night...I was a zombie all day long the next day. I hope you'll be able to get some rest tonight.

Matt & the kids are sleeping outside in a tent tonight....not me!! I'm sleeping in my nice comfy bed!!

Good evening! We've been doing the "mall-thing" too tonight but not for school stuff. I've been searching for a new comforter for our room. I brought one home but have to see if I like it in the room.

Glad to hear Diane is safely in the World and that the LK family is home. The SB's should be home soon too.

We've done the back to school shopping thing. I'm just looking for a pair of black jeans for Amy. It's warm enough that she really won't need them for a few more weeks. I'm watching Ebay to see if I can find her a pair there.

Elaine, I usually read or DIS when I can't sleep. I agree that it's the worst. And it always happens when I'm really tired, too.

We still need to finish up the salsa. We've squeezed limes til the kitchen smells quite yummy. Just decided to take a short break from the kitchen. The guys are watching a football game and Amy is watching a movie on Disney.

I need to check out Yankee Candle online. I hear that they are discontinuing my favorite scent, White Christmas. I need to go shopping and stock up. That candle smells just like one my grandmother used to burn at Christmas when I was a little girl. Isn't it funny how smells can bring back happy memories? I just love to burn that candle and remember my Nanny and Bop-paw.

Evening all... I had a busy day and our ISP has been having tons of trouble due to the virus stuff going around. So as soon as I got home from watching Pirates of the Caribbean for the third time (yes I think Orlando Bloom is so hot in that movie!!!) I couldn't get online much at all

Lars, it is funny, I wasn't a zombie at all today. And I am not quite tired yet either. After I finish this glass of wine, I will take my muscle relaxant and then I should be able to go to sleep. I doubt I'll have two nights in a row like that!

Wow, Gail was busy at the mall too!!! I actually avoided the mall completely this weekend!
