Hi Merry Yep, feeling a little better! I should be fine for work tomorrow! And it did make me mad about the batch, but I wound up making a new one this afternoon. Made for a great dinner And I hope that David will have great stories to share tonight!

Well, the Pirates lost their game today. They usually don't do well on Sunday's so I wasn't surprised. Enjoyed the nachos and wings for all who wanted some.

E - I am SO craving a hot fudge BROWNIE sundae right now!!!

MP - did David make it home o.k.?

Carol - sounds like the night was a success. what a great mom!

Sandy - your karaoke story was too funny. if you'd only known he was singing to another girl!

Being that this is a "family" board I won't touch that one, Kimmar! Trust me, just cannot get past the taste of it really... not sure why. But I will say I take old fashioned whipped cream to something like Redi-whip any day! That stuff is awful!

I'll take just about any kind of whipped cream. I love it. It's one of my weaknesses. I love to dip cookies in it. LOL! And I'd give my right arm for one of those brownies. It's a good thing I'm not there or I'd probably finish off the whole batch. And a brownie sundae sounds marvelous. Haven't had many sweets in the last month or two so I'm feeling weak. I better go get something with Splenda in it quick!

Sorry about the Pirates game, but congrat's to Kimmar's family.

Glad Elaine is feeling better. Allen and I both felt ill last night, but this morning we both felt better. Wonder if it was some sort of food poisoning.

David arrived home safely and just about on time. He did have some stories to tell and was most anxious to watch the OU game that we had taped for him. We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner on the way back to Norman. Kind of funny since he was on his way home from Texas. I had grilled chicken with portabella mushrooms and cheese. It was wonderful!

Rainy day here. I am scheduled to take my DD for her birthday picture at Sears today, but yesterday she got bit by something under her eye and it left a nice red mark. Hoping when she wakes up today it will be gone, or I will have to reschedule.
Have to go shopping for many b'day presents today too. My DH, my DD, my mom, and my son needs one for a party next week. I am going to be broke for awhile.
