Hi all!

I used to work for the mouse in rides and entertainment in the early 2000s. I have a vague idea of what is out there for people with disabilities, but most of my knowledge is limited to mobility problems. I recently became a teacher of the visually impaired and am wondering what services/accommodations are offered at Disney as well as other theme parks? I live in Missouri so my families sometimes go to Worlds of Fun, Branson, and Six Flags. Specifically I'm curious about:

-Front row seating. I know there is a GAC specifically for that at Disney. Does anybody know of other theme parks that offer it?
-Parade seating. Does Disney or other theme parks allow people with visual impairments to sit in the section reserved for guests with disabilities for parades so that they can be assured that nobody will be in front of them and that they can be close enough to see?

What are your experiences going to the park with visual impairments? Are there types of rides that you felt were not worth the wait? I know a lot of Disney's dark rides rely very heavily on visual effects.

I'm thinking of arranging an outing to Worlds of Fun or Branson with my students, so any tips would be helpful. Thanks!
