Disney and Michigan Ave Nov 22

I've never gone to the lighting event. I enjoy watching it from the warmth and comfort of my house.

It's been a few years since we've been there. We took my Son when he was a toddler and the crowds freaked him out. We have been waiting for his Sister to get a little older.

We are going to be there this year.

As for the TV... You miss a lot of other entertainment and giveaways and cold
and excitement and smells and food and cold and sounds and fireworks and cold...

We have gone for the past few years and plan to be there again this year! It's a wonderful, crowded, freezing, cold, crowded, exciting, crowded, cold, way to begin the holiday season!!! With a small sprinkle of Disney pixie dust!:thumbsup2

donna, wave at all the cameras and i will wave back from the comfort of my warm, cozy couch that day!!

:rolleyes1

and make a sign to show to the tv camera so we know who you are.

just have it say, "hi, i am donna and the homies don't know what they are missing by staying on the couch today......."

MAC...you totally crack me up!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

We don't just do the lights parade itself, we go down for the whole weekend, and make it a tourist in your own city type of thing...we like to go & see the holiday decor in the hotels downtown, plus the stuff they have going on all day in the "lights festival lane", plus well, you know, the big thing...SHOPPING!!!

So, yeah, it's cold and crowded, but it's also fun! And, it's a tradition to begin the holiday season!

But, I will try to remember to make a sign for the homies on the sofa! :rotfl:
