Disney and Dialysis..

Hi Everyone,

My in-laws are looking to go down to WDW for about ten days next fall. we are looking into all the details now. Has anyone gone down and arranged dialysis?

If so where did you go? How convienient was it? Did you rent a car or use other transportation means.

My FIL is mobile but will rent an ECV to tackle the parks. I was thinking it's best for them to stay on property for easy use of the ECVs. Please share with me your experiences! btw.. we live in Central Jersey and he currently goes to a Dividia dialysis clinic.

My dad has his dialysis in Celebration when we travel to WDW. His home dialysis place usually sets it up for him.

Since we drive to Florida, we have a car to transport him back and forth. It's an easy drive from WDW property. Depending on where you stay, it's probably about a 15 minute drive or so.

thanks so much! I think that's the Davida one in Celebration, that's what I was looking at. His place will set up as well. I'd really like them to take the trip, it's been years since they've gone anywhere!

thanks for the info! Looks like the Celebration location will be the one for them as well!

Can you tell me approximately what the cost of the cab is? We are trying to figure out what is best for them. to rent a car for the whole visit or rely on Disney's ME and busses and do the cab for dialysis.
