I think it needs something - but I don't know what - everything I try makes it look to cluttered - I want to be able to actually use it as a clipboard - therefore bulkies would not be good...

I'm guessing you already modge podge'd it, so I'm not sure if this would work, but you could paint the brown edge the light blue color from the mickey paper, or maybe even the light yellow color from the upper left corner. It's gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.

Love it! Can you tell us how you did it? I'd love to make one for work (I teach), but I'd need to do something so that it "stood up" to actual use, lol! Did you do anything to the back of it? That is what I am thinking of (since paper, referrals, etc. usually clutter up the front.

I just painted the whole board Black (I used M scrapbook colors cuz thats what I had for black - but you could just use regular craft paints)
i didn't want the back part brown
I cut and inked all my papers
then I mod podged the red paper and the pattern paper on (applied a coat of mod podge - then put paper on - then mod podges on top of that) of course I didn't want the clip to stick to the paper so I sat there holding it open and blew it with a blow dryer for a while - then tossed a tack in between so it couldn't close all the way!
then I tied the ribbons all over the top -
After it was dry I used Mod Podge (mat finnish) on the picture to adhere it -
then I used rub ons for my name and little mickey hands - and i threw a coat of the modge podge over that again to protect it.

Oh Patty---I love that paper! I just got back from a scrapping weekend, and one of the vendors had that paper. Of course I bought some.
