Disney Alphabet/Memory Book-THANKS

Another teacher here wiggin' out over this. We plan to take 2 nieces (8, 10) and a nephew (5) with us to WDW next year. I think this would be really cool for them.

I had thought about printing the inside pages on the unlined index cards. They have some substance but not as thick as card stock or chip board. You can also get them in 3x5, 4x6, and a larger size that I am pretty sure is 5x7. I also thought about just using a large ring to bind them on the corner.

Also for younger children who are not really ready to write on the pages, I suggest having them dictate it to you and have them sit with you as you write it. *** teacher alert*** Write exactly what they say , as they say it. Don't try to change the wording. I will appreciate it much more later when you remember how they spoke, and it the writing has much more meaning for them because it is their words. This does not have to be a long process just read it back to them as you write their words.***soap box over ***

I know the program that I am using to do editing and things - and these work in mine - is Adobe Photo shop Elements 5.0.... hope that helps!

I actually used Microsoft Digital Image Standard 2006. It came on my laptop when we purchased it. Thanks and hope that helps.

BTW, I love this book. I am making it for my DGD who is almost 5 but is developmentally delayed so she is a little behind. I wanted to make her some type of journal but this is ideal. I just need to change some of the pages. The resort page is perfect because we are staying at POR too!

My friend and DSIL came by and I showed them the final product of the ABC Memory book. Both wanted one but need Will taken out on several pages. Here are the blank pages if anyone else needs or wants them!

Here's the final product...I sent the files to Staples online and had it copied, cut and bound. I used a clear cover, sprial binding and black back page. Total cost about $14.00. Thanks again to all the designers for your talent in putting this together!!!

Thank you! I was a little disappointed in the final product. I sent it in to Staples and the pages were not centered like I would have liked -but it turned out ok.

I have had this problem too. It all depends on who you get. Some of my best were last year and I wish I knew the name of the person who did them.

This is so cute! I am printing it for my 2 year old. I think this is a great for his age since I have made some for his older DS and DD. You did a great job!

Thanks- I really agree with you on this. I sent in my Epcot Passport and my older son's journal and they look perfect. I've thought about re-printing this one but hate to spend the extra money on it.
