My FW and I are planning our disneymoon. We got a quote from a US agent today for $1200 US for 5 nights, 6 days at Port Orleans Riverside resort including meals.

I think this is cheaper than if we stayed outside, paid for meals and got our tickets. But I wanted to check if it is a good deal? Does anyone know a travel agent in Toronto that specializes in Disney?

check Dream Come True Vacations . They have a Canadian agent on staff, although they are based in the States. I used her for my last trip and for my upcoming trip and I know you can find a few others on this Canadian board who have used her as well and recommend her.

If I were you, I would totally stay on Disney property no matter what - it's all part of the Magic!!!

Best wishes for your Disneymoon!

It seems a little high but I am not sure how much the meal component factors into things. Personally I would vote for staying on site. No car needed and you can do split days by visting the parks in the AM, relaxing by the pools in the afternoon and going back to the parks for evening entertainment.

We went to Disney on our Honeymoon in December of 2003. I used an AP to get the discount and stayed at Coronado Springs for $130 per night. I bought DW's ticket from Ticketmania and flew SWA out of BUF. We did all in for under $5,000 US at Christmas time.

Depending on the time of year you could also rent DVC.
