Going to Disney After Hours using a DAH ticket at or after the published DAH entry time and using the designated DAH entry tapstyles will NOT use a park ticket. What kind of regular park tickets you may have does not matter. As a separately purchased hard ticket event, you do not otherwise need regular park admission to attend DAH.

The official published DAH entry time is 7pm. In practice, they have tended to let people in with a DAH ticket around 6ish.

It is important that DAH ticket holders enter through the designated DAH entry tapstyles. It will be obvious where to go when at the MK front entrance. Entering the park through a “regular” tapstyle WILL use a regular park ticket admission.

I think it’s important to point out that you’d never be charged for another park day on a multi- day 1 park per day ticket- Disney won’t do it or allow you to do it. You’d need a separate ticket (such as your DAH ticket) or a park hopper to get into MK after spending the day in Epcot.
Simply put, you can’t use 2 park days in 1 day.
