Disney Adventure Dates & Prices Released!

That's actually not a bad price considering how far away it is. We paid $1600 for a RT Philly to Barcelona and that was back in 2013 and after watching prices for months and it wouldn't budge.
That's a nice chunk of change there.

Sorry, I haven't read through the whole thread yet but when comparing costs for 1 vs. 2 guests, it's not identical. They don't charge taxes/port fees on a 2nd guest if only 1 person is sailing. I once looked into all of this years ago to bring my dad with us.
I don’t know if it’s a glitch but I calculated 1 and 2 people in the same room and the fare for person 1 is not double the fare for each person when you add two people.

So it could be like person 1 fare is $300 and person 2 fare is $300 making the total fare of that room $600 without port fees and taxes.

But the room for 1 person is only $550 without port fees and taxes.

First time I’ve seen that on Disney.

Anyone else booking this week? We can’t wait. Hope to get a Jan 2026 cruise. I retire in December next year and want to start off retirement with a bang!

I wasn’t talking about port fees and taxes. The per-passenger fare for 1 guest on other DCL ships is usually the same as the combined fare for 2. When I looked at the Adventure preliminary announced rates, that is not true. The single occupancy fare was ~84% of the double-occupancy fare, excluding taxes/fees.

Planning to go visit my brother who now lives in Thailand in winter 2026. This looks like it could be part of the itinerary for our SE Asia vacation

Tempted to book but not sure that we like a cruise without any port of calls. Pity that DCL doesn´t throw in 1 or 2 ports.

That's where I'm at, too. I just don't think it makes sense when there are other options for seeing characters/watching shows. Especially when that's a region of the world that I'd like to explore by cruise.

At least the occasional 7+ night cruise with a few stops would be ideal.

They have updated the deck plans and room type descriptions:

Nice to see a visual depiction of what the rooms look like and color coded room types :)

These deck plans are made by the DCL Blog based on the designs DCL used to use for the deck plans for the original 4 ships. They're based on the interactive deck plan currently found on the DCL site, but it's not an official deck plan from DCL itself.

The category 3 and 4 rooms were really confusing based on the descriptions so I'm glad to confirm that the room type I booked does in fact have a separate master bedroom (and appears to have a second kids bedroom/closet, which is awesome). Feels slightly less painful to pay what we are paying for "Concierge Verandah" when it is actually the equivalent of a concierge 1 bedroom on the other DCL ships.

I'm very excited to see that are a variety of suites and family rooms that host 6!

When do you think they will publish the dates for the second half of the year?

Only Concierge tho, right? I think many families who are accustomed to booking a Deluxe Veranda room on other ships with the pull-down bed for their 3rd child will be surprised they need two cabins or that they need to book Concierge to have space.

Conversely for us, I love that the entry price for a Concierge cabin that has separation / a separate bedroom is now available with the cheapest Concierge stateroom. We've never booked an inside, but I might consider that on the Adventure. It's probably the best layout of an inside cabin of any modern ship on any fleet.

hi friends, i wanted to share that we booked an Inside Concierge room in Disney Adventure because we have 4 young kids and i thought the benefits of time-savings would be enough to justify the added cost. I compared the price of TWO oceanview regular rooms with connecting doors and the 1 inside concierge room costs USD 1,000 more. This is acceptable to us.

I am now reading threads to learn more about concierge benefits and how to maximize them. Hope more people will share their experiences, thank you

Do you mean concierge benefits on the standard ships (which are a bit different from the Adventure?)— I am also sailing concierge and curious to see what will be the same and what will be different on such a large ship with a lot more concierge rooms!

We're on the verge of booking what will be our first trip to Singapore, and because the Adventure has no port stops, we'll likely be booking on a Royal ship instead. I still don't get this strategy.

They started this strategy when departing from Australia. It's a chance to experience the ship itself for new departure ports. This is doubly so for the Adventure because it's going to be so huge that you'll need that time just to try to experience most of it. I imagine they will add other ports after two years or so.
