So my husband and I just got back from a quick trip to the House of Mouse with our 2 young kids (2.5 and 6 months)

For the last few trips it has been Adult Disney style....AMAZING!!!!

Going with kids.....well different. And in a good way.

We learned A LOT! There were things we didn't have interest in cause it was for kids (while I am a huge kid myself) the Lion King show as Animal Kingdom....if I could have recorded my son's face the whole time....wow that kid was amazed and even we enjoyed the show since we had never seen it before.

I never knew where to find Mickey in MK and learned to where he was to how to get to see him since I never knew you could fast pass him...but than again I had other things I wanted to fast pass. We managed to get a talking mickey at MK today (our last day) and while my son was a bit scared thank goodness it wasn't the first mickey we saw cause he probably would have been traumatized. I hear getting talking mickey is pretty cool since not everyone gets one.

Babywearing was one of the best things we could have done. Helped with the bus system and waiting in lines.

Frog Toggs was a good idea since it was hot...granted we live in FL but it helped keep the kids cool.

For the next few weeks I will probably be asking many questions for our Oct trip since we are brining a gma with us who needs assistance and well we entered a whole new disney world brining the kids.

Baby wearing is hands down the most sane ( although hot) way to take little ones to the park!

You cheated. You went Adult Style first and then had your kids. We first went with our children in the early 80"s and then with our grandkids. It is only in the last five trips that we have experienced the wonder of Adults Only and let me tell you, we are having so much more fun. Differant, but fun. Yes, we miss the looks on our kids and then the grandkids faces when they first met Mickey or a Princess. Or the shrieks when they first experienced the Dumbo ride. But the slower pace, the chance to really look around and experience the parks has changed how we visit now days. We still see the wonder in the eyes of your children and we still hear the shrieks which adds to our enjoyment, but we can take the time to sit and enjoy the wonder and magic that is Walt Disney World. Yes, at our age, we need to sit more often. We missed this years February trip becuase our dog was very ill. He passed away several weeks ago so we have decided to take a November trip and then get back on schedule for February of 2018. 194 more days for the Magic to begin and we can hardly wait.

When my boys are grown up and gone, I keep telling my husband we are doing to Disney right away, to cheer me up. Do a tour and a table service, and just do it adult style! And some family favorite kid rides too. Thankfully I have a little before they are grown, but not too long, but I keep reminding myself of it, so I can focus on looking forward to at least part of their growing up!
