Disney adding two new ships?

From what I understand the RCCL Radiance class is higher at it's highest point than are the Wonder and Magic so that still shouldn't be a reason to prevent those ships. I'm not sure if the bridge is tall enough to accommodate the larger Disney Ships but it should be pretty close if it's not.

I honestly dont know the air draft of the Radiance class, or the air draft of the Sunshine Skyway. I do know that the bridge is the reason you dont see the bigger ships in Tampa.(The article I read basically said that was the factor for the POT being called or becoming a backwater port) Tonkas Skipper and I talked about it once before. I have the plans for the Magic class and can find the air draft easy enough for her. I think another reason that DCL doesnt use Tampa as a port is that it seriously limits the itins they can run that stop at CC. Ill see if I can find the article.

I don't have the number either for RCCL or Disney but given the RCCL ships are a deck larger, it's safe to say they're likely higher. I did see a report that the Radiance class cleared the bridge by only 6 ft per a captains comments. I know the functional height restrictions are a little different than the air draft which is a fixed measurement as I understand it. I agree and as I noted, Tampa alone is not a great single option for Disney but could be a great option in some ways for a seasonable ship.
