Wondering about this as we've booked the Marriott (48 hr cancellation policy) as I was sure my DD2 would have started weaning by then (I'm pretty sure she will have still but just in case...). If she hasn't up to our trip I may try and book up a Disney hotel (because I think we may be better off being nearer/walking distance if we can) - I would be booking week before we leave, maybe even 72 hours before.
Do the hotels get cheaper much nearer the time if it's fairly quiet? We go end Sept for 5 nights so I don't expect it to be hugely busy?
Thanks in advance.
PS - Is there a way of booking room only at the Disney hotels - do you have to ring for this. As we want to buy APs and I know you can't get a 'refund' as such on passes included in a hotel deal.
