I've got a few questions. Sorry, I've looked over the previous threads and reread this one a dozen times

. I want to make sure I understand what I'm signing up for before hand.
Is each letter on one page (12x12) or on two pages?
Also I can't seem to find the "usual completed page 2 options". I'm assuming there is an element, title, journal box requirement, but I just want to make sure. I wouldn't want to be the newbie that messed it up. I've searched the Sticky FAQ-New to swaps? start here thread and the Sticky
Swap Glossary. Can you please point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Sheri
I did not post all the details on this thread, because I am trying to work out some of the little things and questions I had.
Let me see if I can sum it up somewhat for you.
First when sign ups open up you will chose two letters and let me know what your topic will be. For example you chose "H" and "B" and you will do "Hidden Mickeys" and disney"Balloons". For the letter "H" you will need to do 15 completed pages and for the letter "H" you will need to do 15 completed pages.
Next you got your letter topics now you will need to meet the completed pages requirements. I have three different options for you to choose from.
Everone's page must have the title part:
Title: topper, letter, borders, block or tag, letters on squares or other shapes or stamped (with a flair-embossing, stickling, hand coloring, or shadowed, etc.). The letter you have chosen should be larger than the rest of the title and it needs to standout from the rest of the title. It needs to be from 2.5 inches up to 3.5 or more if you desire. This measurement is the top layer, not the shadow. Then it should be embellished in someway. You can base it on how we have been making altered letters. It differently needs to stand out for the rest.
Then the three different options for the layout are the following:
Option 1: 2 places for 4x6 photos and a place for journaling visible or hidden
Option2: 1 place for 4x6 photo and 2 or 3 or more places for smaller photos and place for journaling visible or hidden.
AND
Embellished in some way on the page - elements, Jolee's, layers of paper, ribbon/fiber, chipboard pieces, etc.
Option3:(slightly different requirements to follow): Choose one of the sketches that are listed below and make your page based on the sketch. You should use 3 or more different papers, embellish as the sketch demonstrates to do so.
-You are allowed to rotate the sketch/map in any direction you want.
-Please try to stay as true to the sketch/map as possible.
-Please use a layer of card stock as your base. You may completely cover it with thinner paper. It is very difficult to sort them when they bend and sometimes the embellishments get caught.
-Please use quality paper on your layouts. I will not limit your name brands, but please use good judgment. If the patterned paper doesn't have a name printed on it, don't use it.
-You are not required to double mat your elements or have to embellish the elements one/two way. -You can add a mat layer to the photo placements if you like. That is the only alteration to the layout that should be done.
-You may use any kind of embellishment you like on these sketches where they are indicated or in place of a layer of paper. Ribbon and fiber are good substitutions for paper layers.
-You may use different embellishments on each of your layouts. Please ensure they are of the same quality.
I will have several different sketches you can choose from. I just did not show them here.
Now this is a rough copy off of what I have been working on, but it should give you an idea. The wording will most likely change.
Then the elements list will be included. This guides you on how to make your element choose and the photo mats, etc. Oh and it will only be a one page layout. So once you get your design for the letter it is pretty easy to complete the 15 just takes some time. Hope that helps. And if you have anymore questions please let me know. Someone on here can help.
