Disney 5x rewards

OK I am a little irked right now. I have the disney card and signed up for the DIsney 5x rewards on gas and groceries. The promo ended I think march 31. Well I only got 8 points for that promo. I don't get it. I use my card for EVERYTHING then do web banking transfers for each transaction. Even if they don't count say Walmart as a grocery store (I get 1/2 groc. there and 1/2 at the supermarket) I usually charge between75-100 at the supermarket each week for groceries. Now this promo started back in Jan I think so I should have atleast 8 weeks of that amount then times 5. It sure doesn't equal up to 8 extra points. Has anyone else had a problem like this? I want my points darn it all. LOL

Did you read the fine print? When I got the info in the mail for the 5X reward promo, I had to spend $2500 (if i remember correctly, it was a huge amount) a month in each category BEFORE the 5X reward took effect. Seeing how I usually only charge $1000 a month on the card, this promotion was worthless to me.

The promo's had a minimum amount of money that needed to be spent in those areas before the 5x kicked in. My min. was only $250, but for others it may have been $500 or even $1000. If you got $8 Reward Dollars you spent $800, may not have been enough for your minimum.

There may have been a limit to reach first I dont recall to be honest with you. Oh well I knew it would be to good to be true to rack up points. Darn it all guess I will be saving my points for awhile now instead of using them for my free dining trip in August. Mis-well let them add up since i have plenty of time on them before they expire.

I got the 5x offer also. There was a minimum you had to hit prior to the 5x points kicking in. The minimum on my offer was $250. In thinking about it now, I don't remember if it was $250 in each category or not, but I don't think so. Anyway...I put my airfare for our Oct., 2009 trip to WDW, gas, groceries, and Easter dinner for our family on the card along with various other charges. I actually charged $6400 total on the card for the month,$1400 of it being in the qualifying categories. When I got my statement, I realized I hadn't gotten my 5x points rewards....so I called. The 5x rewards won't show for 6 to 8 weeks and will be noted on the statement as Bonus Rewards.
So...it probably takes two billing cycles for the points to show up. I faithfully put the money aside for each charge I made so I could paythe bill off.
