disney 50th Anniversary Celebration DVD??

I've been to DL every weekend for the last 3 weekends and am going on Saturday and I have yet to see this dvd. I think they're going to make one (looked like it in the last issue of Disney Magazine), but I haven't seen it in the park at all--I've been looking.

Ok, I checked all of the places that sell dvds within DL itself--no 50th anniversary dvd to be found.

If you note this item's location, it says WDW. I have a friend heading there tomorrow and he's going to check there for me to see if they have it.

I've seen a 50th celebration video on amazon that was supposed to go on sale 6/17/05, but it now says it's not being released until 2010!!

FYI-Disneyland DelivEars is a mail order number that you can order merchandise from the parks. I don't have the number currently but I know you can call the DL resort and get it. I'm sure you will pay less than both the eBay and Laughing Place prices.

Are you talking of the planning video or the special 50th one? I saw them doing interviews and such for the special 50th one so it should have more than planning information on it.

This is the same dvd listed on the link above in this thread--there didn't seem to be much about the 50th on it except the same 8 or so minutes that is on the free planning video, and that's a special feature. I expected a lot more from it. It would have been a fine planning video for last summer--it mentions the Imagine fireworks show and the Parade of Stars--neither of which is running or has been running for months.

On July 12 there's a completely different dvd being released called "Secrets, Stories and Magic" for the 50th--maybe that's what you saw them working on.

I did purchase the one we are talking about in the park--it just hadn't come out for awhile. I think what they did was take whatever they'd shot for a planning video and turned that into the dvd that they are selling for $29.95.
