Disney 3x in 3 months?!

My head is about to explode. My brother, sis-in-law and there two pre-teen daughters are going to WDW at the end of August and my nieces called on Skype tonight to beg us to go with them so they can play with Lillian (our daughter) at WDW again. I brought her there last year when she was only 3 months old and they saw her when she was about a year old as well. They obviously love her and since we live in a different state from them, we don't get to see them often.

For me, this would mean 3 Disney trips in 3 months.
June - solo Mama get-away to WDW for 5 days.
July - family trip to Disneyland for 5 days
August - extended family trip to WDW for 7 days??

We have the DVC points and a SW voucher, so it would just be a matter of finding a resort with openings (good luck) and my getting a couple days off of work.

The only thing that concerns me is that at the end of September, we're flying back to Florida for a visit with my wife's family and I'm concerned about the amount of cross country traveling will do to poor Lillian. That's a lot of messing up her sleep and routine.

So...think I should go for it? I'm tempted to call DVC member services on Monday and just see what is available.

My mother would just flip..."Your going to Disney..Again?!"

If your only real concern is adorable Lillian's schedule, I would say that you only live once and that children are incredibly adaptable...much more so than us adults! Also, family is so important, so if luck goes your way and there is DVC availibility I say go for it!

Time with family is priceless - its not going to Disney, its spending time with family!

Besides, I went to DL 3 times one year - I had to get my money out of the AP languishing in my travel wallet - too bad the costs of the international airfare was ridiculous but I never regretted spending money on any trip to Disney.

Well, since we go to WDW 4 times a year minimum (going to be 6 times this year), your proposed schedule doesn't sound at all strange to us. Of course, everybody knows that we are Disney nuts, so the "you're going again" question never comes up.

Thanks for the encouragement! Not like I figured I'd get anything else from a fellow bunch of Disney nuts.

I called Member Services this morning and my thought to myself was that if there was a studio or 1 bedroom villa at Beach Club or Board walk, where my brother's family is staying, for the full length of stay, then it was meant for us to go. If it wasn't available, then oh well. Booking an Epcot resort this close to check-in date, I figured would be an impossibility.

Well, We're going to WDW in 19 days/B]

I'm now scrambling to get pet care and time off of work and all those other details. I'm actually a bit freaked out about the whole thing because I'm so not a spontaneous person and this was a very spontaneous act. I had a moment of panic when the MS rep said that there was availability and really hesitated to book this trip.

I had a gut feeling that this isn't a good idea and I ignored it. Hopefully that was just nerves and not something that I should have paid attention to. Guess we'll find out!

We've also decided not to tell my brother that we're going to be there and instead call him from Disney, find out where he's at and meet him there. I think it will be a fun surprise.

Have you thought of asking them their itinerary to possibly assist in planning. Especially find out where they have dining reservations and try to get a reservation at the same restaurant the first day.

When you show up this would really blow their minds!

I did think about it, but they do Disney very differently they we do. They don't book any table service dining and pretty much decide which park to go to that day based on what bus shows up first! If no bus shows up within a few minutes, then they walk to Epcot or DHS.

Completely blew my Obsessive Disney Planner mind the 1st time we went with them, but now I kinda like i!

Does make trying to surprise them a bit more difficult though.
