Hello all - this is my first post but I have been reading these boards for a long time.

We booked our first Disney cruise for 3 nights. We have been to Disney World many times

Any advice in general about anything to do with the cruise would be most welcomed. We are traveling with our children that are 8 and 6. What activities did your children enjoy the most and would consider a "must do"
What are good activities to participate in while the kids are in the kids activities area

By the way we booked with Small World Vacations and they have been wonderful to deal with. I compared prices through a few different travel agents and even thought they were the same price as some others. I felt the most comfortable with the agent then the others. I didn't feel comfortable at all with online places that don't speak to you on the phone.

Thanks for any advice

The Oceaneers Club and Lab offer a wealth of great stuff for the kids...upon embarkation, you will receive a daily Personal Navigator for each of the children's age groups....this offers a nearly hour by hour description of the activities...they can pick and choose which ones most appeal to them...

Also, a "do not miss" event for you and the kids is the "til we meet again" event in the atrium, 10pm on the last night of the cruise....you mix and mingle with the characters and stars of the stage shows....an excellent photo opportunity and a truly magical event....very bittersweet though, since it marks the end of a fabulous cruise....

Thank you for the information
The last night event seems like something we would love

We just took our first cruise last month - the 3 night Wonder as well! You will have a great time!

I scanned in the Navigators, that's the daily schedule, from our trip. You can view it here: www.joyandscott.com/cruisedocs.htm and you can see what the daily activities were. I also have the 5-7 Oceaneer's Club guide since my son is 5. That will clue you into what your 6 year old would be doing.

Hope it helps - have a great time!!

Welcome to the board. When do you go on your cruise? Nassau has some interesting excursions, but they are dependent on the weather.

Thank you for the link and information.

We are going in July as that is the only time we could get away
