Here is our PTR for our upcoming January 2010 trip
The Cast:
Me: Portia, 25 years old. This will be my second trip to Disney, my first trip was 22 years ago! I was fortunate enough to have my dream come true thanks to the Make-a-Wish foundation which provided me and my family with an amazing Walt Disney World Vacation. I was then lucky to receive the surgery that I needed and have been healthy ever since but have not had a chance to return to WDW. Enter
DH: Matt, 26 years old. He has been to Disney a handful of times but not since high school. He is the reason that we are going on this vacation as he wanted to run the Walt Disney World Marathon, and since we were in desperate need of a vacation (we skipped our honeymoon a year and a half ago to save and buy our wonderful house) I was more than willing to oblige. We have been together for over 6 years and this will be our first real vacation together and we are so excited!
Home Base: Port Orleans Riverside for 7 amazing days and 6 wonderful nights. Ever since the January resort deal was announced I have been contemplating upgrading to Deluxe (The Animal Kingdom Savanna view) but I think that we will stick with this, and we can always do deluxe in the future. However, this trip will be all about
The Dining: Deluxe Dining all the way!! Since the signature restaurants were pretty much the only ones that really interested us we had to have this plan. We are so excited to be able to eat whatever we want at all these yummy sounding restaurants without being too concerned about expenses, especially since the resort deal has saved us so much money.
Ok so that is the basic info about our upcoming trip, I will do another post with our ADRs a little later as well as the schedule we have so far. I cant wait to get to Disney and experience 'The Magic' again. Also when I get back there will be tons of food porn pictures as they are some of my favorite parts of these boards (I already told DH that he is not allowed to take a single bite or sip of anything until it has been cataloged for the Dis boards, and if you knew my DH you would know what a challenge that is going to be for him
)
