Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge Coming to former Reflections Site in 2027!

So for me, my dislike of these new tower styles is the massive scale of the bland, uninspiring buildings being jammed practically on top of iconic resorts, destroying sight lights, ambiance, aesthetic, etc. Not only are they just out of place location wise, they just look so cheap and generic in comparison to the heavily and beautifully themed resorts they are part of or next to. Bay Lake Tower on the other hand, does not seem obtrusive or out of place to me and the architectural focus is still on the Contemporary itself.
Totally agree. BLT fits with the concrete tower that is the contemporary. PIT and LL are just way out of place. Lakeshore does not belong next to WL or Camp Wilderness. Really breaks up the otherwise pristine shoreline.

Hope the theme is not Marriot Bland like PIT.

Wish we could go back to the old style resorts like BWV.

At least the building is barely over the treeline unlike the huge Seven Seas Medical Center, I mean PIT.

More Paneling Added at Disney Lakeshore Lodge

Paneling and more support frames are popping up left and right as Lakeshore Lodge continues to take shape at Walt Disney World.

The main entrance of the resort has more paneling added to the top of it.

More frames for awnings have been added to the main building, above the guest rooms.

A-Frame Cabins

More details have been added to the A-frame cabins. There are now panels on each side of the roof for only one of the cabins. This shows that they are moving closer to completing the outside of this cabin.

I went to Pioneer Hall this week and was absolutely gobsmacked by the LL.

It absolutely reframes that whole area of FW and quite frankly ruins it. It’s shocking.

I’m sure it will all be brown and there will be a ton of trees when they’re done but they won’t be able to hide the bustle that it brings or just the imposing height of it.

What a sad mistake for FW and at a terrible time for DVC given they’re actually trying to sell people on a wilderness lifestyle right now.

I guess getting to hoop de doo will be easier now. Too bad it will be in a parking lot.

Was coming here to say this. It is JARRING how gigantic it is, and is literally on top of FW in a way that doesn't quite come through in photographs. It was shocking, for sure.

Yup, $10 says after they finish the pool expansion, they demolish and build a new Pioneer Hall (a shame!!!).

I mean, currently, it’s this

One thing I’m concerned about is due to the immense size how will the transportation be? The buses and boats could be packed !
Yeahhh that's why this place is gonna be a no from me. I could see myself staying here for a couple nights and enjoying the lazy river at the end of a trip but the location isn't the greatest and the modes of transportation don't seem that great either. With how big the resort is it feels like it'd need to borrow one of the ferries instead of the small boats that usually go to the resorts.

It seems as if they may need a dedicated boat just for that resort. Sharing with Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness doesn't seem feasible.

Even if they do have their own boat, I could see people staying at the far end close to Fort Wilderness just walking to the Fort Wilderness dock which is actually closer for them - and overwhelming the peaceful quiet little boats that usually serve the campground. I like the cute little canopy launches as it just feels more peaceful heading back at the end of the day, compared to the large enclosed cruisers.

I don’t think anyone can say how things are going to work at this point, so it’s too early to say that things like transportation are going to be an issue.

What has been said might become true, but also things might look and work out better than expected.
