I’ve been looking at the map of Disney’s Boardwalk Resort and I’ve noticed there is only one set of elevators in the building where the villas are. The hall ways Seem so so long.
We are OLDER folks traveling with our young grandchild. AM I CORRECT ON ONLY ONE SET OF ELEVATORS? Just trying to figure out how to word our request for room location.
We will be in a one bedroom villa pool/garden view.

I think you mentioned in another post you would like to be close to elevators and have a view of Luna Park pool. When you word your request, I would simply state, "close to elevators, view of Luna Park pool". By putting the elevator request first, it will, most likely, be taken as your priority. When you check-in, if you do not like the location of your room, you can always ask the front desk if there is something closer to the elevator available. If your absolute priority is being close to the elevator, I would make that your only request.

Yes, just be aware, requests are not guaranteed we requested close to elevators (our only request) and were literally the furthest room from elevators at the end of a very long series of hallways. Asked to be moved but they could not accommodate (off season trip in late February 2019). It was a bad enough walk we decided not to stay at Boardwalk again.

If it really is a dealbreaker for you, would suggest a more compact resort, like Wilderness Lodge or Riviera.

I would just make the "close to elevator" request, and not worry about the view. We had the last room on one of the corridors and it's a loooong walk, there was a set of steps right there so we used those to go to the pool and HS.

As others have said request Near elevator and that is it or near lobby and that is it.... The Lobby is also closest to Luna Pool.
The hallways are in fact very long and easy to make a wrong a turn near a lot of the Luna pool views and end up at a Dead end --there a 2 pools so requesting a pool view does not mean Luna pool--
