Hi, I not decided to use this service yet as I want to check a few things out first from a UK perspective. I understand I need to make my mind up this month as we go end of November and they need time to book us on the service and send us the tags.

Q: Is the bus waiting for you at the Airport when you arrive or do you need to wait for it?

Q: Is the bus going to take you around all the resorts until you get to yours or will it be going direct or is there several buses that deal with limited number of resorts?

Q: You know the rule of “has your baggage been with you at all times and could anyone have tampered with it” is this service ok on the return part, i.e. are the airlines ok with Disney Dudes taking your luggage or have I missed the point and they simply transport you back and you take care of your own luggage?

Q: On the way back how long do they give you to get to the airport and check in i.e. is it a decent time or will they take you so early you hang about the airport most of the day?

Q: Is the bus waiting for you at the Airport when you arrive or do you need to wait for it? It was waiting when we arrived but did not go for 15 mins or so. Not a problem to wait in an airconditioned bus to be hionest! It depends on timing and when the last bus has gone etc.

Q: Is the bus going to take you around all the resorts until you get to yours or will it be going direct or is there several buses that deal with limited number of resorts? There are lots of buses - I'm not exactly sure of all the routes but I think there are several. So on my bus we dropped off at CBR, BW and the All Stars.

Don't know with this one as we had a car on the way back.

Sorry don't know again but I'm pretty sure you can just get on a bus that gets you to the airport at the time you want. They seemed to be running all day.

We thought this service was excellent. It saved us having to pick the bags up that annoying second time, and most importantly, it meant we could fully relax on the plane and know we did not have to drive at the other end, when tired. Oh, and DH was able to have a drink or two on the plane as well. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone :goodvibes

Thanks for your reply's but I never drive going to Disney World, the journey is too long and then to be presented with a car on the wrong side of the road and the steering wheel on the wrong side is not my idea of fun ;)

I have always used a Limo service in the past, and the owner has picked me up personally each time I been in the past (he didn’t even use a name board the last 2 times, that impressed me that he could remember what you looked like and gave you a small feeling that other people though you must do this every couple of months or something LOL), the only problem this time is 8 of us in total means no fancy Lincon Town car, it would need to be a mini-bus or something and as it’s only like $120 dollars return I am not against paying for it, just if the Disney thing is no problems then I might as well use it as a bus is a bus. We staying in Animal Kingdom, I know the park bus go direct and was wondering if it’s the same for the Airport ones and if you have to wait.

For example we come in at night time from Iceland so not sure how many other family’s would be coming at night and using this service, every time I checked in at night before you never have the que’s to check in at the hotel’s like you see during the day.

The ME bus to AKL does stop at other resorts on the way (3 I think). The drop offs are very quick. However, we had to wait some time in the terminal building for other passengers to arrive as they don't let the bus go until it is ?at least a third/half full.I would say that after clearing immigration, it took 1hr45min to get to AKL, mainly as a result of a 30-40min wait in the terminal. We wen onto to the portofino bay after AKL, so did not use the service on the return journey.

I have yet to travel Magical Express, but every time I have stayed at WDW in the past, my baggage has been in the bell services lock up room from check out time to airport transfer pick up time and out of my sight. With International flights your luggage will be carried on the bus with you. You will see it loaded. You will see it unloaded. Unless someone is hiding in the luggage compartment of the bus .....

Having said that, many years ago I was returning to UK on an El Al flight from JFK having travelled from Orlando by another airline. I was asked this question and answered truthfully. I was taken to a back room and had to unpack and repack everything.
