Disney’s Behind the Magic of Our Steam Trains

How strick are they with the ages for the Disney’s Behind the Magic of Our Steam Trains tour It say 10 and over but would they let a 8 year on the tour. He is really into trains and would probley get a kick out of it.
Some of the descriptions say photo ID but this one does not.

They will not let an 8 year old on the tour. They are very specific about ages allowed, due to insurance requirements. Because each participant on the tour must also have valid theme park admission, they will check each person's ticket -- ages 10 and up are required to have an "adult" ticket, and your 8-year-old will still have a child's admission.

Now, I suppose you could purchase an adult park pass for your 8-year-old in order to sneak him into the tour, but if they do, by chance, discover that he's not ten years old, you'll lose the money you paid for the tour plus the extra money you put into the adult pass.
