I haven't read through this whole thread, but far enough to see there was a meet earlier this month at the Nat. Harbor. So sorry to have missed that!

I'll keep looking here to see if you organize another one for the D.C. area.

Welcome....just keep reading this thread to find out when/where the next one will be. We do try to meet at least once a month.

For the month of April, the only date I'm available to meet is April 18. How about the rest of you? and would Annapolis be a good choice for everyone?

You don't really need me there...so if the 18th doesn't work for most of you, then you can pick another day in April and just have a drink for me.

I know I should not be crying but I will be at Disney on the 18th ... and when I get back on the 26th will be a picnic at DisPa (tentatively)....

and I want to go with you guys in May... I know I know I am being a baby about this... I got OK with vaca this afternoon for June and the Super ask me.. why are you crying... I said I dont know... maybe it is the weather..

yes, have to watch your alcohol intake because you mellow out when you drink..... learned that last year.

hahah sorry... also that day that was the last meet and my 5th meet for the day... so with alcohol it really hit me... but when I met Joe and Rob.. it was about 2Am at POP and we were goingon till 4AM I think I eve scared Rob away... it was only Joe who was patient enough to keep up...

near the BWI airport is Arundel Mills Mall which has a Disney Store!

I definately couldn't attend the 25th or 26th as my company is sending me to a company seminar in Atlanta, GA.

We can always do Dave and Buster's again in Arundel Mills Mall or try another place there. WillCad and Glenda your probably more familiar with the Mall then me. Do you have any suggestions?

What a coincidence I am staying at a hotel at the Mall. I'll have a rental car so can meet almost anywhere but will be in DC working during the day Mon - Fri.

I'm pretty sure you can't use your company credit card or shop at The Disney Store on your company's expense account!

There is a Friday's outside of the mall as well as a Panera's and a few other places. Inside the mall is Dave and Buster's, Chili's (kind of small), Johnny Rocket's and Medieval Times. Several miles away towards Glen Burnie you have Outback's, Carrabba's, Bonefish, IHOP, and other dining destinations. All the Dunkin Donuts in a 25 mile radius have been closed!

and why not????? YOU would consider it a wise use of tax dollars, right? Sortof my own personal bailout--for Disney! ( I don't work for a company-I work for Uncle Sam)







For anyone who doesn't "get it" the above is a J O K E. I would never risk my job or break any rules by even trying something like an unofficial purchase. I don't even order wine or beer with a meal if I am on ttravel on the govt.'s dime. Although technically allowed I would just feel funny about it.
