I don't think you lose them. They're still associated with your usermane as far as I know. I've uninstalled it and used the beta version and I've still got contacts in there I havent' IM'ed with since 1998.

What do I have to do, go to add or remove programs, then remove yahoo instant messenger? I'm not real technical and when it says are you sure, I panic, lol.

Hey, you don't need to have [little] kids to do this -- you could take 20 pics from your last Disney trip and do one ... you could even do a "coffee table" style book of just pics of the castle, spaceship earth, etc...or pics of your quilts (for those who sew on here), etc.

I was going to do a Disney book but I may change it to be a "Ultimate photos of the last 3 years" book.

I plan on brestfeeding so I have to buy a pump, and some bottles.. i have a few.. the tub thing I have has this seat thing in it so the baby doesnt slip around... I need to get the pacifier strap things too.. thats on my list of still gets..

it always seems cold there to me! but i loove the cold.. im having issues because i am trying to get used to our bedroom being warm for when the baby gets here and I cant sleep when its warm!



I have this thing that looks like a bottle nipple and the "bottle" part is like tiny and its to give the baby their medine... I saw those bath thermometers at babies r us and its on the still needs list..



we got a regular thermometer in our little travel grooming kit thing but i have an ear thermometer on my still need list because they do seem easier..

Sounds like you are really pretty organized and have a lot of what you need. Good girl!

As far as the warm bedroom, you don't want it too warm, you can put the baby in a sleeper with a blanket sleeper on top (like wearing a blanket) that way he can't get out from under his covers, have the air cool, not cold and maybe it will be a comfortable temp for all of you.

sorry to post and run...but I'm exhausted...spent 3 straight hours going through all our photos for the past 3 years...I'm glad I did...I picked 98 of the super best photos and DH will save them on a disk that we will also put in a firesafe box.

But anyway, I can't stare at the computer any longer...

I didn't even know they made bathtubs like that. Shows ya how long its been since I've had a baby. None of my friends have even had babies that I could shop for recently.

As far as your bedroom being too cold for the baby, I wouldn't worry about that too much. Babies like to have lots of nice warm clothes on and be wrapped up tight in their blankets. Just take him to another room for changing time.

And yes, the ear thermometers are much easier. They also make pacifiers with thermometers on them, but I don't know how well they could possibly work. I've always been taught that you have to hold the thermometer under your tongue to get an accurate reading. Obviously a pacifier does not go under baby's tongue. And babies do not like to have things up their butts any more than anyone else does, so that makes a rectal thermometer a pain in the butt...literally.

Yeppers, that will work. You can't do any damage doing that and it is real easy to put it back.

Trust me Uncle John, it could be so much worse! We could be talking about anything from bras, periods, and yeast infections to giving birth and proceeding to eat the placenta. Trust me, none of us have ever even thought about doing that.

I saw the pacifier ones too.. but im iffy about it.. ear thermomters seem easier andi can use it longer.. what six year old wants to suck a pacifier for their temp?? (i know i have the normal thermometer but if i didnt..) ill take a picture of the tub thing when i find it.. its in the garage somewhere.. Josh knows where but he has been working..
