Ooooh, that sounds great (the blankets). I've never tried making blankets before, is it hard? Do you use a machine or do you hand sew? I might be interested in trying that...I see it as a great way to do holiday themed bedding at a cheap price.

I have a sewing machine but some stuff I prefer to do by hand. Like these blankets. It is a cheaper and much cuter way to do themed decorating. No one else has anything exactly like what you make. I have made balankets with the blanket silk around them and that has a pretty finished look to it. The ones that the kids like the best are the ones that I did a simple hem on them. The hem holds wash after wash too. And they are so easy because fleece is so easy to work with. And one thing that is nice is you can make pillows and things that match perfectly too.

Oh man still in the 90's?? I'm so glad it's not hot here any more. I LOVE the fall!! I just hate that it leads to winter. But hopefully we'll have another short winter that is un eventful.

Yeah, I was falling asleep on the couch. I think it has something to do with the way I've been eating and such for the last ...well, forever really. I have come to realize that I can't eat the way I did as a kid any more and still have the energy I did. So as of today I'm on the Curves diet. And I plan on buying an eliptical when I have some $ (which will be never because I spend it all on Disney )

He is right, that is the cutest thing. When Chris would go on trips for work I'd prop pillows up like that too but I never thought to actually put his picture up there.

Hi Everyone!! Today has been pretty good so far!! Braeton started feeling better @8:30 last night and was very alert today. he did go to school in his w/chair but was able to go to PE and use his walker!! I wa at his school today working and have just ran home for a few min. so I'll have to jump off here pretty quick.

sharky Trents projects are adorable!!! We'd deem them "Refrigerator Worthy Material" at my house!!!

Marshay If I haven't said it already, (I think I did) CONGRATULATIONS on a girl and We want to see that scrapbook as you are doing it. AND I agree You can be a little self indulgent. You are preggie. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT!!!!!

Cheri Pillow Mike is just too cute!! Well at least you won't have a whole bunch of just space around you now huh???

Oh Sharky!! i did want to say that yes I am definatly going to try the diet thing first for Tyler. My biggest fear is side effects from Meds. DH has had siezures from Ibuprofen and one time in the hospital was given some "new" blood pressure pills that caused a worse side effect than what he had wrong with him.

BTW I got a rep from my company to have me moved to a non-handicap room (she confirmed that there was a group of linemen that left as of this morning...but the hotel didn't know that they had left yet)

She called a little while ago and told me I need to go to the front desk in order to be moved this evening.

Let's just hope they don't give me ANY hassle! (if I see that $%^#! lady again I am gonna bite her freaking head off)

Now, if they can just open the hot tub and pool back up, I'll be all set!

It's different for those that are wheelchair bound only. One of the great things about the Beach club is they gave us a WheelChair Accesible Regular room so we still had plenty of room. I think it's strange that there's no counter. I think they could have designed it so that those rooms have counters too. It's very silly. Wheelchair bound people still have STUFF they have to put on the counter, too! In fact, they probably need the counter space more than we do!!! They need the accessibility to their things. It's just.....grrrr!!
