This is going to sound funny, but it makes me feel very grown up to be going on a business trip. :lmao: I've been in the professional world for several years, but this just solidifies that I'm a "business woman." I feel like Nikki now ;)

I'm gonna make the best of this. I'm just praying I don't get lost tomorrow! :scared:

I felt the same way on my first business trip. Actually, I always loved traveling -- the hotel, the new food, the new scenery and people. I miss that now...

Somehow I too thought that when my company believed in me enough to send me out on trips, that I had reached a new milestone. Congrats!!

If I did that, Mike would wear all my socks and stretch them out. YES, he has done that before! He is so lazy about it that he'll reach in and grab any 2 socks. It doesn't matter if they match or even if one of them is mine (and my feet are literally half his size!)

I left him with one load of laundry to do. Just some darks, mostly his stuff, nothing delicate---all can pretty much take a beating.

thanks!

I can't believe I'm leaving tomorrow!

I'm practically all packed. I just have to throw the rest of my toiletries in tomorrow morning (the ones I am gonna use before I leave).

I feel like I packed my whole closet! I wanted to make positively sure that I had enough clothes to wear. I'll be in jeans during the day, and I figured I might want to change into shorts when I get back to the hotel. I also needed weekend clothes, and packed something cute that I can go to a bar in if Trevor and Jenna (that's Mike very best friend and his girlfriend) want to go. Maybe we can go to BWW (Buffalo Wild Wings)...they have free Wii there! :woohoo:

Oh man, yeah, guess not a good idea for ya to do that, then:rotfl:

One load of darks, his, what could happen :rotfl:

Congrats, not silly at all.Means Your company has faith in you:hug:

Hope you have a great time and enjoy yourself:goodvibes

Hey Sharky!! I was doing the same...now got to take DD to music class at the library! TTUL!

I went to bed early as I was so tired and I feel refreshed:goodvibes

Going to go figure out now what I am wearing today and get ready. Then, his turn.....

Have fun. TTUL:goodvibes

My playgroup update: I told the other playgroup that I would be able to go this week. I think I just need a break from the old playgroup...I won't say I'm dropping out...just need to give it time b/c I am hurt by it (whether right or wrong, it's the way I feel) and figure I need to try something new and catch up on old friends and meet new ones.

(I found myself losing sleep over this issue which is so totally not worth it. Hopefully tonight with my decision made, I will be able to sleep!)

I wasn't around all weekend so I missed this whole dilemma and now you have it figured out. :goodvibes But I just have to say that I think people who take it upon themselves to tell other people they are not a Christian are, well.... not acting like Christians themselves. That just irks me to no end. :headache: Where in the world did some people get the idea that this is something they can say? I mean if you were an axe murderer or something I guess they could pass judgment but in this instance... puhleeeease.

And the mom with the food allergic kid is going to have a RUDE awakening when that child goes to kindergarten! My DD is allergic to peaches. Did I request that peaches be removed from the earth? No... I taught her not to eat peaches. She knew what they looked like, she knew to say no thank you to them, she knew to not touch them, etc.

Gosh... that got me all fired up like Sharky's witchy pediatrician!

WHAT??? Sharky went to be early?!?!

Tat and Cheri ~ Have good, safe trips! :goodvibes

Betsy! I missed her send off! I hope she has fun!

Lastly... ORANGIE! I've missed you.

Wow, this is sure a shocker! You, in bed before 1 a.m.! Wow! I'm impressed lol.

If DH and I had that rule, we would never sleep and I'd end up being even MORE angry at him!! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I'm surprised that I still feel nauteous (and worse) and extremely hungry a lot! With DD, I swear it went away in the 2nd trimester.

I go on Tuesday for another test -- according to one of the "Your pregnancy today" emails I got, we can determine sex now! I thought we had to wait until 20 weeks...So I need to see when I really can schedule this! Will be excited to call the baby a princess: or pirate:

OH cool Marshay, we want to know the baby's sex and we want to see a preggie picture!!!! You know how nosey we are!

Marshay, you made the right decision. I understand allergies and how serious the peanut one is of all the allergies but come on, this woman went a little nuts and she had no right to tell you that you weren't a Christian. She is the only one with a problem, then she should pull out of the playgroup and find one especially for children with allergies, it would make life easier for her, not to mention all of you! Don't lose sleep over that, it's not worth it!

I know how that feels. I've been on a few business trips now but my first one was awesome just to be sent away at someone else's expense, lol. My favorite one was when they sent me to Minnesota for a trumped up meeting that we didn't need to be there for. It was an excuse to justify them sending us there for the company Christmas party which they held in the Mall of America. Now that was awesome!:thumbsup2

Hmmm, did you forget someone Love? :sad2:

I've missed OB too, where in the world is she? I am finally about caught up, now it's almost time to go home from work and I'll be behind all over again. :confused3

Marshay, you poor thing I never had the nausea with any of my three pregnancy. Thank goodness. Which I kind of find ironic because I always had nausea with my monthly visit. Go figure.

I am glad that you have decided to take a break from that play group because you don't need the extra added stress.

I'm sorry I keep missing you. But it seems that since DH's hours at work are shorter I get less computer time.

This shocks me, too to hear others not liking Disney, esp teens. When I grew up (INSERT violins here!), we were fortunate to go every 3 years and let me tell you, that 3rd year was so greatly anticipated!

I read on another board where a Mom had to bribe her 14 year old DD to go to vacation for a week at Disney by (GET THIS:) buying her a new digital camera!!

Some things I will never understand...

:scared1: i wont understand them either
