The kiddos are in year round school so they go 9 weeks then 3 weeks off except between school years and thats 4 weeks off for the summer.

They started vacation this past Monday so they only have 2 more weeks off.

I just got an email about Beaumont...so I'm definitely going. The good news is I can drive out Monday morning. And I HAVE to bring a laptop. I also get to wear jeans all week so that is cool!

I might even drive the extra 2 hours to see my in-laws before I head back this way Friday or Saturday. We'll see...


ETA: Oh, I'm staying at the Holiday Atrium. Which I assume to be a Holiday Inn? Anyone heard of it?

Well, trent has been coughing for 2 days straight. I said something is not right. I go and do his alubuterol like I had been doing for a year now and it is a miracle, cough has almost stopped. I like to wring that dr neck

Poor Trent! And Mom! Funny this is we LOVE Pulmicort but here lately all they want to give us is abutoral unless we see the Main Dr. Which she has been Bs Dr for over 5 years. We were with her when it was just her office. She specializes with special needs children. Different Meds work Different for DIFFERENT people. Thats why we have a gazillion different types of Meds. If only people would realize lets stick with whats working and only switch if it stops working!!! Hopefully this won't happen again to you!!

Hungry!! Need my midnight snack!! I'm feeling generally good but still get nauseous.

DD went in for an ultrasound of her liver (just a check from the UTI) and immediately when she saw the pic she goes -- Mommy a baby! Just like you!!!

It was really funny! She thought she had a baby inside her too since the pic looked just like the ones I hang on our refrigerator! I had to explain to the nurse technician and we both laughed.

Don't feel bad. Neither do I. Somebody asked me today what my plans were for this weekend. I told them I was putting my Halloween decorations out. Well, that's done, so I'm free for the whole weekend.

Oh, good idea. We have no plans this weekend. In a little tiff with my moms' group right now so we all canceled our plans to get together and do in October when we're all happy again...

But I am happy for you! Have 2010 rates come out yet? Just a little tip~ book early!!! Like as early as you can. The longer you wait the more you pay. Just a few months after I booked our's the rate went up almost a grand... for real. All you need is $200/each to plunk down.

aww I'm so sorry! I hope I'm not upsetting you. I hope you can still do it at some point. Who knows, maybe y'all will have enough $ to go in 2010 as well and then we could do a DIS meet!!

the 2010 rates have only come out for the 4 day cruises from what I've read so far. I'll keep my eye on when the rest come out so I can book ASAP! Thanks so much for the tip!!

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking

i just had the most difficult phone call ever (at this job that is). So earlier today my manager told me that i should answer PBX phone calls (especially if the operator is swamped) Since i started i knew that i should answer the PBX calls by the 4th ring but i opted not to for fear that someone would call and i wouldnt be able to help them in an efficent manner (being that i still dont know the area, nor am i comfortable answering all the questions about the hotel ) but today being an extra busy night, i was told twice to make sure i help and answer calls tonight. It was going smoothly at first, id answer the phone and transfer the gst to the extension they wanted...until one particular gst called. Apparently he had been transferred from the operator to conceirge to front desk and then hung up on...so he calls back and unknowingly i answer his call and he lashes out ...i try to help him (without transferring him once again) but he was just so difficult. He kept asking if he was on a prank show and blah blah blah ...i tried my best to remain calm (i learned that working at Pop...) but he wouldnt move forward just kept complaining...to my luck someone walked by and i waved him in to the gift shop and told him i needed help, by this point i was a nervous wreck (my voice and hands were shaky) i took deep breaths and let him (and the other guy he called in) handle it... Now i dont want to answer the phones anymore. .. sorry just needed to vent...

oh man that sounds awful. Hate phone calls like that where customer just decides that it is your fault that things didn't go their way.

That's so sweet about DD. It sounds like she is really excited about the baby. Just a little unsolicited advice have apresent for her at the hospital from the baby when the baby is born. We did that with our kids and it kind of made it that much more special because eveybody brings something for the baby so this time the baby brought something for them.
