Well ladies...I promised Kacy the computer so I am off for the night. Have a great night and I will see you all tomorrow.

You are right we all could learn a lot from Braeton. His faith is wonderful. God bless him.

My hubby has caught on somewhat but not completely. I am hoping that for a while he stays in the dark. I hate to sound awful but it can be so useful.:goodvibes

Yes it can! Although since my DH has caught on he now watches the kiddos while i take a nice Looooong bath and then shower!!!!!Just so I can read!!!:goodvibes He says since I'm always taking care of him and the boys that that is how I relax and it's important to take care of me!!:goodvibes He can be such a sweetie sometimes!!! :goodvibes

Even after all my cleaning.............................Messy!!!:rotfl2: And I never did get on the roof today. Oh well theres always Tomorrow!!
Actually today was apretty good day although this evening i got a little concerned. On our way to church Braeton had a focal siezure. I thought he was just having muscle spasms but then before we got to church he was asleep. I could wake him up so I knew he was o.k. But the siezure gave him a migraine. He is sleeping pretty good right now. He has so much faith. He said just pray for me and I think I'll be o.k. No matter how much pain he is in he will always say that if you pray he'll be o.k. because Jesus gave him a promise!! you gotta love him. I think him and his faith could teach a few of us adults a thing or two sometimes. I know it does me!!:goodvibes

So glad I'm not the only one. it took my husband a while to catch on. He was getting pretty worried since I do have some stomach issues. He was like baby I think you need to go back to the "Dr what if you need another surgery???

:rotfl2:

"It's o.k Baby just get me a prevacid and another book I'll be o.k!;) :rotfl:

That braeton, he is such a sweetie. I hope he feels better tomorrow:goodvibes

Although that DR sounds like a real Witch with a capital B, it sounds like she worked with you. That is so important. I am so glad you have his prednisone for the trip in case you need it. I am saying a firm prayer that Huey doesn't need it while he is there. And as far as the behavior problem at school the meds will do that. Especially since we all know Huey is a sweetie.:goodvibes

Thanks Chele. I really appreciate your prayers and thank you for your kind words about Huey:hug:

I agree. Braeton can be a little toot sometimes. Especially when I have to give him a breathing treatment right before school. I thnk that and the other allergy/ asthma drugs and then being expected to be reasonably still is just too much sometimes!! it will get better I promise. Huey will be back to his sweet self very soon!!!

good Night Ya'll! I'm falling asleep sitting up so I'll see ya'll tomorrow!!!

Aww, what a nice hubby:lovestruc

Good night Chele. Ya too:cloud9:

Oh Sharky!!! Don't you just love it when all the sudden they know your child better than you!! Girl you obviously have it in control. If you are talking to a nurse and he didn't have an attack for almost a year I personally say KUDOS to you!!:thumbsup2 She just probably had had a bad day and was taking it out on a nice person who didn't give her any lip!!!
Yummy on the Chinese food and Walgreens reminds me I need to look up the deals this week there as I will be going to Houston Fri so I can hook up with Walgreens and Krogers in Porter on my home since I know they are open now.
Thank you!!!:yay:

Thanks LeeLee. I needed that:hug:

You are most welcome. Hope you get some great deals:woohoo:

That's me I hide in the bathroom to read. The better the book the more time I spend. I try reading at bedtime but I am just to exhausted from the stress lately to actually read at bedtime.

Reading in bed before sleeping is one of my great joys! Seriously.

DH is already in bed with the lights out and I'm thinking, drats! I won't be able to read tonight.

Sharky -- Good that you got the medicines you need. I swear if you talk to 3 different docs/nurses, you'll get 3 different opinions. Gotta take it all in stride and sounds like you did.

Hey Marshay

You should get a book light. Would that bother your DH?

Thanks..

You got a point there. Thanks:goodvibes

it would be funny wouldnt it (or i could've helped u with ur luggage being that i worked part time out there...the luggage service at Pop was a sub-company therefore making it possible to work 2 jobs at disney) I always wanted to make it to a DISer's TR as an employee but i've never came across my name :rotfl:

OMG, when i have to get blood drawn im like a little baby

thank you. we should motivate each other.

That sure would be. I doubt you would have helped me with our luggage though. We never flew down there...although DH says he'd like to fly down there from now on. He is sick of driving the 8 hours there and back.

 trust me I used to be the same way.

DH got his first job on some major projects as a Program Manager ... but he really is not managerial material and found out the hard way. So hopefully he can go back to computer engineering and not have this current job be too much of a blot on his resume. He only got the job last May.

Hmmm, maybe he'll find a job near Disney! The next best thing to working for them!

DD was much better after a nap. We actually napped together (haven't done that in a year or so) and it felt really nice. When she woke up, she was much better ... and so was I!

Yeah, it's just scary when he is the sole provider and I'm pregnant and this economy sucks. Hopefully, it won't be too long...

oh man, hopefully he can find something in computers again like you said. I'm praying for y'all. I'm sure it is rough and scary when the sole provider loses his job.

I'm glad you got to nap and your DD too....:thumbsup2

im off work tommorrow so i wont be able to Dis...see ya thursday

see ya! Enjoy your day off :)

I'd like to lose a pound or fifty! LOL

:lmao: same here

About an hour and 45 min from Beaumont. I live past Indian Springs.

oh...too bad!

My sister lives in Orange which you will pass through on your way to Beaumont. She's 20 min max from the mall in Beaumont. You know i DO need to go see her and my Cousin and Grandpa in Port Aurthur....Hmmmmm i wonder if i could sneak away and then we could have a mini DIS meet!!! Wouldn't that be neat??:thumbsup2 Of course I have to work and we have Dr apps next week, but MAN so close and yet so far!!! They wouldn't be making you camp out at Ford arena would they??? We haave a bunch of relief workers here that are having to drive from Beaumont every day! They are from all over. I've met some from Ca, Ohio, Va... It's really neat to know other people care! If they do send you somewhere else let me know You never know it might be close enough for me to come by!!

ooh ooh ooh! I would LOVE a mini DISmeet!!! :goodvibes

No, I will have a hotel, thankfully. I don't know where yet, however. I don't even know what I'll be doing yet. I'm waiting on an email with details.
I will let you know when I find out! :thumbsup2

Oh I love to go ALONE when i have to pick up Tyler from something at school. its the only time I can read without kids banging on the bath room door yelling MOM aren't you through with your bath yet??? You are going to be wrinkled!!! I'm always thinking NO I'm not thru until I'm through with this book!!!! ;)

:rotfl:

And here I am with super straight hair that I spend forever curling only to have the humidity knowck the curls out!!!! That is why I wear it up most of the time!!! Girl your hair is gorgeous!

The same thing happens to me if I try to curl my hair. I made the mistake of curling it before our Poly photo session last week, sprayed it with hairspray all over, and of course it all fell out before we even got there. :headache:

oh man

I have been out all day

I left the house at 10am and did not get home until almost 9pm

I went to work, came home and picked up hubby and ran to school to pick up Trent early. We were signing him out as he had a dr appt at 3pm.

Found out he did not have a good day and we had a little talk about that:headache:

He seemd out of sorts all afternoon and evening, so thinking because he still does not feel well with his cold, allergies and asthma all rolled into one. The teacher things it was just his meds, so I am going with that;)

Anyway, we took him to the dr and saw a new person. What a B she was:mad:

She made me feel this big, picture me making a tiny sign and made me feel completely dumb. She basically insinuated that I am not treating his asthma correctly, only half way. Um, Hello, he had not had an attack since Sept 2007, until 2 weekends ago. I have been managing his med for almost 5 years now. I have his own personal nurse thru my insurance company. I talk to her once a month and she said my plan for him was great with his meds:confused3

But I held in all my anger and tears as I needed something and knew that if I flipped out, I would not get it:headache: :sad1:

But I got the predisone and I am good to go for Disney

:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

After that fun filled visit, we went to his MIL, so hubby could help my fil finish installing their new sink

THey bought us dinner, Chinese food and Cheese steak and of course Trent did not have any of that, so my mil made him Pastina and grilled cheese

Then we hit walgreen on the way home to pick up all his mids, as I got new prescriptions for all his meds, since he had no refills left. Almost broke the bank:headache:

So, now we are set with his meds until September 2009:woohoo:

sorry that she was a witch with a capital *b* but at least she gave you what you wanted...prescriptions! :thumbsup2

Even after all my cleaning.............................Messy!!!:rotfl2: And I never did get on the roof today. Oh well theres always Tomorrow!!

oh my goodness....I just teared up reading about Braeton! His strength at such a young age is amazing!

That sure would be. I doubt you would have helped me with our luggage though. We never flew down there...although DH says he'd like to fly down there from now on. He is sick of driving the 8 hours there and back.

Did he REALLY say he wanted to FLY??

How are you this morning? When is it you have to go to Texas? I hope you and LeeLee are able to arrange a Dis-meet that would be so nice for you. Making a nasty thing into a fun one.:goodvibes

I'm not feeling so hot. Was up last night with my stomach. And still in a Disney depression. I think it's partly due to the fact that I can't go to the Adventurer's Club last weekend(it's THIS weekend). I am really gonna miss that place!

Supposed to be there by Monday, so I may have to head out Sunday afternoon. I hope we can meet, too! That would be so great!

uh oh...I just lost a whole reply! :headache:

Bummer! Hate it when that happens :headache:

Did he REALLY say he wanted to FLY??

Yup, he sure did. He's finally coming around to my way of thinking. He said about an hour and a half into our trip home that he thought to himself "we could be home right now if we had flown". My jaw hit the floor and my eyes welled with tears hearing him say that! He said he's getting too old to be sitting in a car for 8 hours at a time. It's too uncomfortable and that's time we could be spending at Disney or at home (if we're on our way back). So I think whenever our next WDW trip is we will be flying down!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

I'm actually tossing around the idea of the 7 day land and cruise thing for next year if we can afford it. Or maybe for 2010 instead of Disneyland. As much as I'd like to go to Disneyland I'm quickly realizing that it would be at least $5000 for us to go with air fare and all. :scared1: I'm sure I'll change my mind a million times about it between now and 2010 though.

Good Morning!

Good morning Chele! :goodvibes
