I'm going to check that out Michele, thanks!

All right now, that's enough out of you!!!! 40 is not old!!!! You remember that Young man!!!![]()
DM, I'm 45 anyway....just giving LOVE a hard time......Whats everyone doing tonight.......???? I had to work today then come home and shovel landscaping stone so DW and I didnt do anything tonight......just hanging out at home.......I have to stay up till my son gets home from his girlfriends homecoming dance.......(she goes to a different school)......
Wow 45. Hmmm. I am 46. That doesn't seem all that old to me.![]()
Yuck. I don't envy her that drive.
I once drove from Salinas, CA back to NJ in 4 days. Now that was quite a drive and I was alone! I went up through Reno NV and went out I-80 I think it was, then when I got in Ohio went to I-70, or vice versa, I forget now.![]()
I had the computer set for remember me and I guess the computer doesn't like to change it once she tries. So I have it as remember me on the laptop and I don't let them use it.
I am totally cool with staying here. When Scotty gets home form work around 7 we are going out to pick up dinner and maybe go to Michaels and the bookstore. Maybe Sportschalet too.
Oh Jeez that is quite a drive. It is I-80 through Nevada becasue that is the major Highway that goes through our area. We are on the I-80 corridor.
I have to get to another Michael's as well. I need to get a 2XL lime green tee shirt for DH. I bought all of us that color and made the Ft.Wilderness tee shirts but they didn't have a 2XL when I was there and an XL isn't big enough for DH so I'm hoping I can get one in one of the Michaels stores in the next week so I can finish his shirts.
Where are you going to go get dinner? What are you hungry for?![]()
I am craving a hot Pastrami sandwich. With lots of meat and cheese. Good and greasy and unhealthy.![]()
Hopefully Michael's will have it in for you.
I-80 goes clean across the country as when we lived in northeast PA, we lived just off I-80 also. We used to take that over to where Tat lives to visit DH's mother. So I probably jumped on I-80 there and switched to I-70 in Ohio. I was visitng a friend in that area on my way home.
ooohhhh sounds good. I get those cravings for something totally unhealthy and very fattening sometimes and when you have that urge you have to go get it. I know how you feel. so you are 3 hours behind us right? is it almost 7 there? It's almost 10 here.
That is such a long drive. I don't think I could do it alone at all. Disneyland on I-5 is bad enough for me. That takes us around 8 hours and it is a long straight boring road. Making it very easy to fall asleep.
Yeah it's still early here. As I was telling UJ earlier our girls are gone to a dance so it is just Scotty and I with Loren so he gets to pretend being an only child. Kody gets so mad when we do things while they are out but it's like guess just because you aren't home doesn't mean life stops.
That is my biggeset problem when driving alone. I get kind of mesmerized by the road and go into a trance like state. That is what really worried me doing that drive alone. I'd get up about 5 a.m. and drive down the road a little then stop and gas up and get breakfast. I always stopped at truck stops because they are so busy and much safer for someone alone. Plus you get the best food in truck stops. I never drank anything but water when I was driving and if I had to eat something I'd nibble on pretzles. Never anything with sugar because you'd get that sugar high then crash suddenly. I drove till about 6 or 8 pm and then got a motel room for the night.
