Steph, we decided to wait until the crowds were a little thinner (Fall) and also our DS was arriving in late August and DH & I wanted to wait to all go together. Now our Moving Van has arrived (Wed) and we have been busy between work and unpacking. Once we are settled we will buy our AP's!! We will get the Deluxe Passes. We have been to DTDL 3x and loved it but it was packed packed packed.

My husband loves trains and my son is obsessed with trains.

His room is full of Thomas the Tank engine....There is a full track around his floor..You can barely walk

Plus, we have a real train set downstairs...that my hubby and son play with together.

I can not wait to go to Strousberg this weekend. Lancaster is great. I love seeing all the amish people and their buggies, too

So, your boys are all grown up. You are right, perfect time to travel for sure

How exciting that your oldest is getting married next year.

As far as the colors for the wedding, all I know right now are the bridesmaid's dresses are navy blue. They are strapless. They will wear pearls around their necks. I believe Diana said the shoes will be beige. That is all I know of colors. It is an evening wedding. They both graduated from the same college and will be getting married in the church on campus. So far they have 3 priests saying the Mass and there maybe more. Chris and Diana both have undergrad degrees and advanced degrees from this college and spend 24/7 there!! My youngest also grad from this college.

Can I join? Even though I'm new, I have been reading Disboards.

Ya, too funny about coast to coast... last weekend, DS#1 was in Maine visiting my parents who live on an Island during the summer months. He was standing in the Atlantic Ocean and called DS#2, who is out here living with us and we happened to be at Huntington Beach and DS#2 was standing in the Pacific Ocean ...yup coast to coast!!!

Hey Girls!

Had a heck of a day. I finally decided to join the gym and today was my first day. It was also the first day that I have ever let StinkerBelle in any type of child care situation. Well, as I am on the treadmill they page me and I find out she has pushed someone and been put into timeout. I then realize she pushed her FRIEND! Yes, her friend that she sees everyday. UGH! I could not believe it. That was the main reason I did not join because I was worried about kid problems

Anywho...

Hi Kar, Welcome to our thread. I haven't been on much lately as I've been working a lot from home so that takes up my DIS social life, which stinks. I really miss the girls when I can't get on. I am looking forward to getting to know you. I am QueenMom, Disneymommom or the Staff Psychiatrist, so I wear many hats here. I am trying to get into photobucket to post a pic so you know who you are talking to.

This is DH and I at the World's Largest most unique McDonald's on Sand Lake and International Drive in Orlando. It was such a cool place to visit! Only wish I'd have DGS with me, he'd have loved it but would have to keep a close eye on him as it's huge!

My moving van just arrived on Wed afternoon so I am busy unpacking... BUT I jump on the DIS to get away from all that...so I would love to meet everyone!!

DH and I just moved here from Boston. We are 15 minutes from DISNEYLAND and yet I have not had a chance to get there yet!! We have done Downtown Disney but not the Parks.

How is everyone doing today and what are your weekend plans???

I live in Louisiana but am currently living justs outside of Kissimmee and Disney World. DH got a temporary transfer here so we are only here till December. This weekend I am going to get to meet Carla (Leger) for the first time. I just love DIS meets. I already have LGMH in my purse to trade with her. I'll be posting pics after the weekend!!!! I hope everyone else has a good weekend planned? What are you all doing?
