We had two rabbits growing up, but my brother took care of them, thank god, as that not really my thing, cleaning cages and such

Aww they are so cute Carla. We used to have them nest under the swing set so we'd leave the grass high around the rabbit hole so the mom could keep her babies safe down there and no predators would find them. Then they'd grow up and go off to wherever big bunnies go. I think bunnies are so darn cute.

That is a good idea. I think Chris would have done that but with the dogs he didn't want to leave them and have them get hurt by the dogs or go under the fence to get sucked up by the mower next door. Hopefully what we did was ultimately better for them.

well not anymore...they %$%^!%!$$!%^^!$! moved me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I came back to my room and my #%^!$#$ key didn't work.....I went to ask and they said I would have to change rooms because they are going to start renovating the 7th and 8th floor!

WELL, don't freakin LOCK ME OUT OF MY ROOM...here I am with a LAPTOP CASE AND PURSE ON MY ARM AND CAN'T GET IN MY ROOM.....after a LONG DAY of work and dinner...and a MARTINI and 1/2 might I add!!!!

then my new room is a handicap room so it has NO FREAKING BATHROOM COUNTER! I ask and they have NO OTHER ROOMS so I SPEND 30 MINUTES MOVING MY $%^!$^# and here I am.

BUZZ KILLERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they should've at least gave you some kind of warning, or never checked u in to that room in the 1st place

I never really wanted to be a mother...but then as I turned 33, I said, it's now or never...took 2 years to get my DD and everything in life changed for me since then.

Not sure if we'll try for one more or not...

i'll probably be 30 when we start to try...that way both me and my BF can enjoy our youth, and be sure we're ready financially for a baby

Marshay, I never wanted kids until I was like 30 years old either. I wanted to enjoy being a grownup first. I love the scrapbook pages.

Sorry if I missed anybody but our computer was giving me troubles earlier and I spent over two hours on the phone with Microsoft correcting the problem.

well...I had taken over someone else's room...the person that I replaced in this group. She was here for a few weeks so her time was up. It was easiest for Entergy to just keep me in her room. They had no idea the hotel was gonna move me.

What made it worse was that the lady downstairs was SO RUDE. She told me "it's not that big a deal" her and her freaking short hair....yeah, obviously you don't need hair styling tools and you probably don't fix yourself up, so maybe YOU could do without a counter. And it wouldn't have been so bad if I had STARTED OFF without a counter...at least I would not have known what I was missing. The other bathroom had this HUUUUUGE marble counter. I think I might have a pic on photobucket (uploaded them and just didn't post yet)

I had even unpacked some of my clothes into the drawers (figuring 2 weeks is pretty long to live out of a suitcase). And my stuff was in the tub, on the counters, fruit and waters in the fridge. It was not convenient at ALL, especially to move so late at night.

She suggested I "put a towel on the floor and put your stuff on that" Oh, gee thanks lady. I get to do the Elle Woods bend-and-snap move every time I want to set my flat iron down or use a different cosmetic. That'll do wonders for my back.

I ended up grabbing this little low round table that the icebucket was sitting on, and putting it in the bathroom for the meantime. I still am gonna try to change rooms. Maybe won't be able to today, but I know I'll be able to change tomorrow.

i still think the hotel should have warned ur company beforehand...they had to know that the remodeling was coming up. And even worse she was rude about it. that is just so wrong. i know how u feel about trying to work with a little counter...it just doesnt work. i have to deal with this everyday and it really annoys me (not to mention there arent any closets in my house, but thats another topic) my makeup either falls into the sink (or even worse the toilet ) i cant wait to move to a diffrent house

Ok, your wish is my command!!

I admit I was lazy and didn't take the pages out of the protective cover, thus the glare, but I think you get the idea.

The first 4 are of Ocean City, NJ. This is actually where I had my first DIS meet with a friend I met on another thread. Anyway, OCNJ was where my family took us to the shore when we were growing up. This trip was with my parents, sister/BIL and nephews. DD and I had our first trip by ourselves in a hotel room.

Notice how sleepy DD is getting on Nana

The small picture in the upper left is actually DD's first roller coaster. Then she went on another one with Pop Pop that evening.

Then I included this photo b/c as it says we finally learned what to say to get DD to smile at the camera! Also, I'm proud of this page for 2 reasons:
I made the background paper. Since DD had black stripes in her dress I thought it would be cool to add them in the background. Then I added the work LAUGH to give it some more pizzazz.

Finally, I wanted to include a large mouth to show laughter. I didn't have any stickers but I have a machine (Cricut) that die cuts images. I found Cinderella's lips and enlarged it many, many times.

Voila!

You think that note is bad, wait till you hear this! DH gets home one day and he can't get in the resort, the passcode at the security gate won't work. So after trying it several times, he goes and parks and goes in the office and they tell him they changed the code that morning but they put notices on everyone's door knob. Duh how do you get back in the freakin place to find the stupid note on your door knob if you don't kow the new code????

Now there are some real geniuses at our place!

i wanted to post something that bothered me tuesday night but i got busy with work...so if u dont mind i'll post now...okay so sunday night was my BF's mothers bday and she wanted to go to the cascino. not a problem, its her bday let her be happy. she "borrowed" $50 from our rent money (which we give to her in the end so she can write a check for rent) to use at the cascino. we went had fun (although she didnt win...they almost did but thats another story) So the following day my BF comes to pick me up from work and tells me that his parents went back to the cascino again with more "borrowed" money. Even though she would be "paying" the money back it frustrated me because they took the rent money and wasted it gambeling when they could have used it on gas(it is my BF and my car-they dont have there own car), food, toilet paper, toothpaste. Now i dont mind pitching in when i need and i do. But i think its wrong for me to go broke while they are taking the rent money and gambeling. Now dont get me wrong, i love my BF's parents. THey have helped us out a lot since we moved up here. But this is nothing really new (when we were jobless, his father was buying beer and lottery tickets everyday--even when there was nothing to eat in the house) And even though i love his parents part of me cant wait til they go to Puerto Rico. Is that wrong of me?
