Today DD and I are off to get a flu shot at a walk-in clinic...hopefully there is no long line. So this morning I read her the only "going to the doctor" book that I had -- Pooh Goes to the Doctor! And instead of just getting a shot for mumps and measles, of course I changed it to the flu shot. At the end I asked her why I am reading it -- her answer: "b/c we are getting a flu shot today!"

We'll see how well ours goes...

Hi everybody thank you for your concern. I am experiencing time without numbness in my arm and hand which I haven't since 2007. Wow what a difference.

I hope everyone is okay. I miss being on here but it's hurts to do the keyboard right now. Hopefully not for much longer.

How did it go? I took trent to pediatrician to get his today. He was not too happy and I had to hold him a bit. But he was fine in about 30 secs after he got a lollipop and choc chip cookie

awww, sorry I wasn't around. It's been very sporadic here for the last few months. Everyone just seems to be crazy busy. This is the first time I've been able to visit since Monday.

He is doing well and will start his therapy this morning...sounds painful to me

DD was SO good! I took her DVD player and some of her toys. We were there for over 8 hours and we had no crying or fits, she was so content. Thank goodness! After such good behavior she got a big sippy cup of chocolate milk last night

I know Orangie...I feel so out of the loop. It's nice to know you can come back whenever and it feels just the same



Thanks Carla He had left knee replaced three years ago and finally had to have this one done. I can't wait for him to be all healed and feel great too! So great that your MIL feels great...that gives us hope!

Seems like we all keep taking Dis breaks lately. Hopefully we will all get together soon

My Dad had knee replacement surgery today and we spent all day at the hospital. Everything went well but it was a VERY long day.

Michele - I hope you are feeling ok. I thought about you this morning and wondered how you are feeling. Hope you got some rest today

That is so cute. She's a smart little girl now isn't she? How did it go? I hope the lines weren't long for you! If I am extended at my temp job, I'll get one there as they are giving them out to employees, temps can go get them for convenience but we have to pay for them, not bad though, $16.00 CVS wanted $30!

Oh that is soo funny that you saw that! I have never seen anything with the name Leger on it before. It may be more common there though since Cali is so close to Canada. Sorry you haven't been getting good rest lately MomMom. I have a hard time falling right to sleep too unless I'm ultra tired. Hope you slept better.

It takes me an hour to two hours every night to fall asleep. I can't seem to just relax and just fall asleep. I am not upset by anything and I feel exhausted yet I can't go to sleep

Hi Michele, how are you feeling? I hope you feel better now.

I went to the dentist today for a root canal, he was supposed to work on me for an hour and finish it. Seems he only worked on me for about 35 minutes then told me I had to come back to get it finished. That makes me mad. While he was working on the root canal, the rest of my tooth broke off and now I have this gaping hole between my teeth. Lovely huh? Thank God it is on the side. If I don't have a big cheshire cat grin you won't see it. It's making me nuts though as I keep playing with it with my tongue. Now I go back Tuesday for the rest of the root canal and I guess then I'll find out when he's going to dig out the rest of the broken tooth and then he's got to put a screw in my jaw and then build a crown around it. Fun stuff huh?
