I got to the parking garage and parked and then had no clue which way to go. There were no signs that said City Walk. I read them all and nothing. So I asked someone and they pointed which way I should go. So I start walking on the moving walkway and I get to an area that I would call the center of the wheel. There were three spokes (ways to go) and I wasnt sure which way to go because once again it didnt say City Walk. I saw signs for attractions but who thought that attractions would be the City Walk, I thought that would be Universal Studios. How did I know they were in the same direction, lol? 
I called Carla and she told me which way to go. So I head towards the two security guys, they check the contents of my purse and my camera bag and I confirm with them that I am going the right way, I was, whew! So I continue down the moving walkways and I get to the end and there it is, City Walk and Universal, how about that, they were both the same direction!
I look around and I dont see NASCARs restaurant or anything NASCAR actually, so I look around a little, snap a picture of just the general crowd.
I see the Bubba Shrimp Co. I loved Forrest Gump, lol, he wasnt there though, just his restaurant, LOL! So I had to take a picture of that.
About that time I get a txt msg from Carla saying they are standing by NASCAR car #2. I look but dont see, finally I ask someone and its around the corner, it was just out of my vision so I didnt see it until I turned that corner. I see a little piece of black and white checkerboard and think hmm, could it be? Would it be? Is it really the NASCAR restaurant or something else checkerboard???? I continue walking until it gets more and clearer, now I see a car, hmm, must be. Sure enough there is Carla and Rebecca waving at me. I wave back and hurry to meet them. Yep you guessed it, big hugs!!!
You all know me, if you are going to meet me, you are going to hug me or at least be hugged by me. So I give my big hugs and Carla introduced me to Rebecca and in we go. Chris and James are inside waiting for us. I get inside and I get to hug Chris and meet James. Everyone is so nice. While we are talking we get Chris to take a picture of Carla and I. Now you know it was taken from a bad angle, Chris was sitting and we were standing so I look like something out of beetlejuice, little tiny head and great big body. Amazing how that didnt have the same affect on Carla, just me, must be an age thing, lol, gravity! LMAO!!!
We wait for a table and once our table is called, they naturally take you first to a photo opp. We stand and get our picture taken and then are shown to our table. Once at the table a lady brings the photo and says its $14.00 a copy, wow what a bargain, lol, and we look at it and then put it down. I thought a minute and thought too bad I dont have a scanner, oh wait, we have cameras!!!! So I whisper to Carla, you know, we can always take a picture of the picture with a camera! And so out comes the camera and we get a picture. Carla will have that one so she can post that when she gets back.
We have a nice meal, lots of good conversation and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Its so nice to finally meet Carla in person and everyone else too naturally but really enjoyed Carla since weve been talking for so long, now I finally get to meet her in person!!!! It was wonderful.
Finally it was time to go, sadly enough. We were going to walk around and hang out but poor Chris developed a migraine. I can totally sympathize as I used to suffer from migraines and they are very painful. Unfortunately none of us had any Aleve with us so they had to go. I walked them to their car so I could get the glow sticks and bracelets that Carla had bought for the party at Pop Century so that I could take them to Cheri. We hug some more, talk a minute and then I took a picture of all of them before they left. I didnt want to hold Chris there much longer knowing how awful he felt. So this is the parting shot right before they left. Then of course more hugs
and now that I know Rebecca and James, they get hugs too!
I then walked back to City Walk and was going to walk around a bit but decided to go shopping instead. Im still trying to find a top to go with the bottom I have of a bathing suit. Even on clearance here nothing is left. I ended up at Books A Million and got me three more Catherine Coulter books from the FBI series. So Im set for another couple weeks of lunches at work. After that I went way out of my way to the gas station that is always the cheapest but due to Ike they had gone up to $3.85, well I may as well get it, its always the cheapest. I head back up I-4 and get off at our exit, turn into Champions Gate and there at the 7 eleven on our corner the gas is only $3.62!!!! I was so darn mad at myself, I went out of my way to spend 23 cents more a gallon, GRRRRRRRRRRRR!

This weather is CRAZY!!! Tonight we will get some of the remnants of Ike so it's going to be very rainy! StinkerBelle is definitely sick 
The good part is that we do not leave for 2 weeks so that should give us enough time.
with excitement! I haven't even read your post yet but wanted to say thanks for posting so quickly! Those of us with no life were anxiously awaiting this 
It sounds like you had a really nice time. 
A lot of dogs have a sad look but they are as happy as can be
