oh man, no that doesn't help when you have your DH reloading your plate with food and taking you out to eat like that. Chris took me to Wendy's last night. That is one of my weaknesses as I always get a frosty there. It was goooooddddddd though!

Oh man I had no idea you hurt yourself so badly on vacation. So sorry to hear that MomMom. Thank God Disney has those scooters though. That's awesome that you lost 5lbs with staying busy! You need Trent around all the time so you can lose more weight.

I already have bad feet that need surgery and I have bad knees so when I fell, everything really went as I could not hold myself from going all the way. I will get that surgery soon, hopefully that will relieve the knee problem somewhat too as I walk wrong due to my feet. That throws my knees out of whack.

It was good I lost 5 lbs but I think DH gave it right back to me since we've been back. I do know that all my playing with Trent is what helped as I was too busy with him to care about snacking. If my daughter loved me she'd let me borrow him for a few months so I could be healthier and lose weight but no she's stingy and selfish and won't let me have him. Can you believe that?

Going to be a busy weekend here. Tonight going to a wedding reception. Tomorrow spending the day with my Mom helping her go through pictures. Chris works tomorrow night on into Sunday morning (Night shift). Sunday I'll be playing Rock Band 2!!

sounds like you have a busy weekend planned. I think after being away for 8 days we are going to spend a lot of time vegetating lol. DH went to bed at 6 PM and fell asleep by about 7 or 7:30. We are both exhausted but I could never go to bed that early, I'd be up at 5 a.m. Enjoy the wedding reception and spending time with your Mom!

Actually I meant as in I am making the gifts. I am going to crochet the kids blankets and maybe scarves. I have always wanted an old fashioned Christmas and this year I am going to try doing it.

That sounds nice Michele. If I did a home made Christmas it would be with the home made meal as I can not make anything that would be acceptable as a gift, lol, it would be more like an insult, LMAO!!!!

hola all! I havent been on in a while.. my computer is uuuuuber slow right now.. dunno why.. I may have to disconnect and let Dr. Daddy take it to Clearlake and clean it up for me.. he'll probably tell me I have too many pictures and too much music on it.. that couldnt make it slow...

soo.... Josh FINALLY got a job.. it took his unemployment running out to get him out there and its really not a job his mom or I want him to have because hes back into selling cars.. a dead job in my opinion but its a paycheck untill he gets something better.. and his mom and I are on his butt to get something better.. hes not at ford this time tho.. hes selling jeeps.. my dream car! I drove one the other day for the first time and I am in love.. but not with the price! so unless I hit the lotto or have a jeep handed to me (2 things that will most likely never happen) I wont be getting one.. but a girl can dream right?!?

everything with the baby is all still going normal.. except me being stupid forgot the DR said to fast before the glucose test (the one for diabetes) and I drank soda the night before and failed the first blood test so I had to go do another one that was three hours and I got poked four times! I havent gotten the results back yet but i think it will be normal.. im not worried..

Joshs grandma is throwing me a baby shower on nov. 1st.. shes being very old fashioned about it.. no guys and no kids.. so most of my friends arent coming because they just had babies and have retarded spouses that cant take care of the baby without them.. oh well... its still gunna be nice..and after the baby is born Joshs mom is going to have a get together here at the house where guys and kids and everyone can come and its just gunna be like come see the baby and hangout kind of thing.. so that will be fun..

I got my hair cut.. its way different than I have ever gone with my hair.. I have side bangs now.. not totally emo I hate life side bangs but nice cute ones like my cousin had when we went to DL.. and I got highlights.. well the girl that did my hair called them "lowlights" because they arent very blonde but she put bleach in my hair and lightened it a little.. its different.. and layered! and it was free! the girl that did it is the girlfriend of one of the guys i get my tattoos from..

I got totally addicted to DL podcast i can down load for free onto my iPod so im gunna go watch some.. talk to you all later!

Glad to hear that your pregnancy is going well Steph. Keep taking care of yourself. Glad that josh is working, that is important no matter what kind of job he has for now. he has a baby to support now so it's time to grow up and be a man. He'll get something better eventually but for now he needs to keep at the car job. I love my jeep, it's my favorite car I've ever had!

The shower should be nice, too bad your friends can't come if there are no kids because their husbands can't take care of a baby alone. There's something screwed up about that. What about their mother's wont' they babysit for a few hours one day?

The weekend is starting soon My brother and his fiance are on their way here from Harrisburg to visit so we're getting ready for that.

Steph - I like the hair! I used to always get lowlights. Glad all is well with the baby, I failed my first gluc test too and then passed the second one.

Dancin - Are they gone now permanently so it's just you and DBF? It's nice you got so close with her.

Marshay - I never got to comment your pics from the party. Your DD is SO CUTE! Looks like she had a blast and the jello looked great too!

kinda neither... the school dropped me to sub status so im still technically working there but i have no garunteed hours.. soooo.. and they havent called me since they dropped me .. they dropped me because someone that was there last year was coming back and for some reason they replaced me over the summer.. so instead of dropping my replacement they dropped me.. so if they need a sub they will call but if not then oh well.. but i am still "employed".. so that looks good on applications.. and I am on unemplyment for a little bit while im dropped till i go on maternity leave.. here in a couple weeks i am going to work under the table for a friends mom doing daycare.. helping her watch 10 kids for 2 hours a day at 20 a day 4 days a week.. that will help.. so i will do that till the baby is born.. then after baby is born and im all recovered and junk im going to look for a good job.. hopefully a desk job.. im going to get into the temp agencies...

Glad to hear you are going to get a desk job and use a temp agency after the baby comes. That was what I was trying to convince you to do before. You can take any type of job even file clerk and they will train you to do other things in their office while you are there.That will give you the experience you need to eventually get a permanent desk job in some office. Very proud of you Steph!

So anyway, my English teacher suggested that i enter a short story/essay contest (either one would be fine) but I am supremely lacking ideas. Anyone have any?

How about an essay/story on a girl who needs to write an essay/story and she can't think of anything to write about? She goes to her family and friends and even on the internet to get ideas...she keeps turning them down and explains why each wouldn't work...

then she finally gets a brilliant idea -- she's so excited -- and then "she sits down to write..." and of course that's the end of the story/essay.
